Sorry, just wanted to say that I considered your retort to be completely right and that I agreed.
If someone decs you they better bring it considering they are the deckers. Not whine about not having you around.
However, that post was also the only post I read. -----------------------------------

You guys suck. You're catch phrase should be "you say hello, we say goodbye and hide in the station"
Aesheera's excuse this time was that time zones were so far apart that it made it difficult to fight - she's saying that in local from the inside of the station. despite the fact that there was about 7 other Malum Crutches in station.
If you were thinking about Malum crutches or talking to them about contracts, think again and "say goodbye" to Aesheera and her fail minigun. _________________________________________________ Ninja Looter, Ninja Salvager, And High sec suicide Ganker - Making high-sec feel like low-sec, not for ISK, but for LuLz. |

Interesting comments and input to be expected, from Nightcrew. Our group left your home system since no one showed up to begin with. And saying we 'suck' is easy to throw at us when most of us start to log off and you're sitting outside in a 12 man fleet.
Im amused with your commentary, since we havent even had a (decent) fight with you yet. I'd suggest you save the chitchat until you actually get the chance to do so.
Until then, the people that decced us really dont have anything to say to us really.

not really. You guys showed up with a sizable fleet and left as soon as the competition showed up. we had to follow you like 12 jumps only to get excuses.

You were logging off because you had been in that station for 30+ minutes. Decent fights will never happen at this rate. I don't care what side of the world you are on, you people must go to sleep at 7pm like my grandfather for your excuses to fly.
And yes, criticizing a merc corp for hiding in station and saying "time zones are bad so we won't fight" is a legitimate criticism from "the people that decced" you (or did you dec us first? refresh my memory...)
p.s. - that minigun is false advertising. THERE IS NO MINIGUN!!!! DON'T BE FOOLED!!!111!11!11ONEONEELEVENTY!!11

Edited by: Aesheera on 03/08/2008 12:02:24 Yes. we logged off since it IS night in our timezone. We logged off at 03:30ish. And I dont care what you say or how you try and make it come across, when we sat at YOUR station the same things occured as in our system. It almost like the pot trying to call the kettle black. When we spent 30 minutes or more waiting for you to get your entire corp ready we got tired of sitting and watching a station and thus we left to get home and log off.
And trolling a business thread with pointless comments like these basically make you look like more of a tit tbh.

Not really. I was out screwing around doing what I usually do the whole time. I guess standard procedure for malum crutches is to declare them docked up when you don't see the war target on warp in.
As for 3:30, I seem to remember reading something...

I'd just like to say that we brought 6 people to meet 6 people, and when you're numbers doubled we did the sensible thing and gtfo of dodge.
And then like an hour after we get back to home base, and 4 PEOPLE are online, you blob us with 10BS's and 2 Falc's and spam us with smack in local.
I'm not here to flame, I just wanted to try and set the info straight, as that seems to be an issue here. No one would willingly engage a blob like that, unless they really enjoy losing isk.

Hm after waiting well over 30 minutes I can say without misinterpretting that you didnt come out to play at all with 3 in system - not even with 6 of your buddies next door Good thing about us is, we dont ***** when enemies dont play in such cases.

As you stated yourself, we had a max of 7 online, amongst them a few who had to head off considering the time of day. Next time get your people out of Vylade into the system we were waiting at instead of flaming afterwards when its obvious we head back to call it a night.
G'day.

Now you guys are just trying to make people feel sorry for you. I wasn't the only person that said you guys are infamous for dock ups, and the odds weren't nearly as bad as you make them out to be.
Besides, if i recall correctly, i haven't been the only one in this thread accusing you of being a ninja docker.

A civil reply. And youre pretty much right there. My point that I tried to make before, we barely cross each others timezones. Without throwing smack at us, this is honestly a fair post.
Perhaps we will have a match up soon. Lets see how this week treats us both.

I have a mini-gun... but I always get laughed at when I show it off :(.... Its so "Mini" I always hear.. *sigh* maybe thats why I fly a battleship, to make me feel less mini!
My comment wasnt really intended to be smack, I understand time zones.. its just kind of funny to watch you guys go back and forth trying to convence everyone that the other one is scared, when yet everyone can clearly see its a time zone diffrence..
Also IMHO, docking is not a bad idea when your out number or clearly going to loose the fight... why waste ships just to fight?

We're more than happy to engage. Hell, more often than not, we'll engage with poor odds just to get a fight. I was elated to see that you guys had set up a camp a few jumps away from us (me).
Sadly, moments before we gathered to come spring your trap, you guys gave up waiting and headed for home. Thirty minutes isn't that long; Especially when you consider that we didn't *immediately* stumble upon your camp. If you're going to be mercs worth your salt, patience is a very critical quality.

FYI - we're usually at war with multiple corps. Additionally, we're usually farming carebears to pay for our habits. When we're on, we're busy doing stuff! One war target in local is hardly reason for us to sound an alarm since *usually* they're just docked up.
Hiding a 6 man gate camp a few hops from our turf is really no way to get our attention. You want a faster response? Taunt us. Or I dunno... ACTIVELY ENGAGE US. I've got no problems with a gate camp - but seriously - you can't expect us to know you're a few hops off waiting impatiently when we're already busy separating carebears from their personal belongings.
Originally by: Aesheera EDIT: As Fistr stated - when the numbers were close to equal you didnt move in. And as soon as you muster enough to virtually double our number you head to our home system, you smack in local when some of us - as mentioned three times before - logged off for the night.
Allow me to recount the events that night...
You guys set up a gate camp a few hops away. We don't know your numbers - hell - we don't even know you're there! One of our guys stumbles upon your camp and calls out for a gate bust. People file in, and we get organized. Moments before we come to spring your trap, you guys head for home! We decide to give chase and end up catching you in your home system.
At this point we vastly out-number you and you stay docked - a wise decision (anyone would do the same thing). Hell's Reclaimer, our eloquent diplomat, talks in local with well-thought-out words of encouragement. He also mentions how proud your mothers should be to have raised such fine warriors. Honestly, he really is quite the wordsmith.
We kill one of our own to satisfy the blood lust and then head for home disappointed.
Again, we're happy to engage you and we're happy to see you guys are willing to engage us. Just try to be a little more patient and/or a little more imaginative than a bait ship on one side of the gate. That tactic is old and worn out and won't work on people with half a notion of PvP.

When we are actually contratced to fight you, we deploy a different style of play. In this case, you chose to dec us after we had spoken to Roccia19 that we would love a fight, but are simply too occupied with other wars at the time. Our little stroll to your system was a small attempt to see a new battle at the end of our day.

We are patient enough, but again, we got tired. Tired of waiting and tired since it was late. Thats also the reason we didnt go extensively overboard with tactics. And tbh, even if its the oldest one in the book, it works more often then not.
And for once, kind request - stop dropping random comments in a thread designed for different purposes.

I just cannot fathom why people feel the need to muss up a perfectly legit merc post with random comments and well pretty much turning into a flame fest.
At the end of the day we are at war yet we have not yet had any meaningful engagements, so I ask simply, let this post do it job and if you really feel the need or urges to smack talk in the forums, open a new post, we can all just sit in there insulting each other.

One might argue that contracted or not, it's better for a merc corp to always behave professionally. Patience and tactics are two very important pieces of the puzzle. NightCrew has to have this in spades for what we do, and I'm sure you should too.

I would tend to agree, however the flavor of some of these posts pertains to your performance as a merc corp. What better place to address these issues than on your very own merc post?

You would have had a hum-dinger if you could have waited another 5 minutes. But really, my posts and several others are regarding your performance *as* a merc corp and not just inane smack talk.

Dear Nightcrew:
Stop flaming our recruitment thread. Make a new thread, or chat us in game, or something besides having nerd rage in our threads. Yes, I realize this could apply to both sides atm, and I'm only speaking for one. Trolling is forbidden in recruitment threads, anyway.
Thank you.
