Reduce their mass or give them more armor to match the mass given (5k?). T2 1600mm has 1 million more mass then rolled Tungsten yet gives the same HP not to mention requires Hull Upgrades V, shouldn't there be some reason to use them? ---Sig--- Sig removed, not appropriate for the forum. a lot of t2 stuff is only barely better than best named and takes more fitting than unnamed. I think it is kind of supposed to be that way. t2 plates are normally cheaper than rolled tungsten because you can build it. at least in my region.

I think they should just make T2 armor give the same as rolled tugsen but make it significantly lighter. That would make the extra power cost more then worth it on numerous setups as it will not hinder your acceleration so badly, but it will not effect the balance of shield vs armor tanks which exist today. You couldn't make T2 armor increase your HP any more due to balance issues. As it stands armor is alredy a generally better tank for pvp and is able to attain a significantly higher HP buffer on the top end, if you make T2 armor give more HP, it will increase that gap substantially.
T2 modules generally have some advantage over their mainline T1 counterparts but its not always better at the items main stat. In several cases you will find T2 modules have a reduced penalty, or higher efficiency. This is the path T2 armor should take in my opinion. ******************************************** CEO of CSS Ltd.
