I'm trying to extract older wallet journal data from the API, and I cannot get anything returned but the last 50 rows.
FromID (or BeforeRefID) do not seem to work at all. Either I get nothing, or only the latest RefIDs (which are greater than the specified FromID).
Maxrows (or RowCount) attribute set as 256 also get only about 50 rows at a time.
Also, for many searches that return something, the CachedWithin datestamp is _before_ the actual timestamp of the query result. This is strange.
It seems to me most everything is broken currently with the WalletJournal.xml.aspx... quite impossible to search and fill gaps of missing data in my application database.
To verify I'm not making noob mistakes, I am only trying one API query per 30 minutes. I am trying to extract data from _yesterday_, without luck. Nothing but today's latest data gets returned.

I haven't tried this recently, but I was certainly having trouble a month or so ago. I think people said it was a known bug, seems strange though. If it is a bug, it's massive and it's been around for ages. |

CCP broke walking backward when they add forward walking but say there's nothing wrong it's working as attended which to me means they don't want it to work which sucks at best. Finds camping stations from the inside much easier. Designer of Yapeal for Eve API. |

Currently no walking whatsoever seems to work in either direction.
Imho CCP never implemented forward walking. They just renamed BeforeRefID to FromID, but it still means the same - going backwards from FromID.
I urge people trying this out, and reporting a bug if you can confirm this.

I don't have any issues with walking back neither Transactions or Journals. Do you use the _lowest_ id as fromID? The elements in the rowset aren't guaranteed to be sorted.
Disclaimer: I can only walk /char/Wallet*.xml elements, because my corp lacks entries ... |
