How is it that if a player uses a covert ops to cloak into your mission and salvage your wrecks not an act of GGC towards the mission goers such as the acts of stealing from a players wrecks.

There's already been a thread about mission salvagers today, with plenty of good replies in it. I suggest you look for it.

Eve is a harsh place you wonĘt always have everything go your way, its a do or die world and people do what they can to get along. If salvaging some wreckage gets them a few more ISK someone will do it, it doesnĘt matter who just blew it up.

New?
This and the nanowhine is old, nothing new about it. Been going on for several months now. Some ECM whining too, that's more recently though since Trinity however.
Nanowhine is a unique though. At one point, there was just whines against it, and then nanofags would attempt to defend it. Ever since CCP said they were going to put stacking/ship penalties on it in the future, you now have the same whines, but also nanofags whining about the nerf too - so in a way you could could say its a Whining Duet. ____________________

If you want the ability to kill anyone that ****es you off get out of high-sec.
Otherwise as has been pointed out, CCP/Concord doesn't care who salvages the wreck. Because of this Concord protects both of you.

AGHHHHH SHUT UP!!! CCP said this is intended mechanic. Don't like it, salvage as you go, pop your wrecks as you go or hire nub/corp mate to salvage for you. In the mean time, we're coming for your wrecks!

You can shoot us if you are in lowsec, you can avoid us if you are in a less populated system, you can get rid of us with a phat wad of iskies or you can feed us by blindly continuing on in your missions in the main hubs ignoring how the intended game mechanics work...
Your choice

Indeed Amastat himself has cried buckets over ninja salvagers for the past several months. How dare you affront him by failing to cite him as a reference? That's plagiarism!

Win...
but to the op..
is working as intended....
CCP made things the way it is now..
it used to need you to empty wrecks (and get flagged) to salvage...
they changed it..
so.. working as intended.

I made sarcastic commentary to the OP for making another salvage whine thread? And some threads I made lured in tons of debates from idiots like you?
Successful trolling I think
In fact one of my salvage threads, which I am very proud of, got to like 10 pages long I think - and I threatened to quit mission running because the thief are ruining the industry in the OP - I'm running a mission right now ____________________

One thing that seems out of place about this, though, is that cans are just floating junk, too, but you get kill rights when another player removes components from them.
I realise it's a game and all just bits and bytes, but, logically, it doesn't make sense that a player would get kill rights if loot is removed from the wreck but wouldn't get them if a broken drone interface is removed from the wreck. I'm sure there's a hidden reason involving instigation, etc, but as far as immersion goes this does kinda detract from it a bit.

yeah, thats pretty much all i was trying to say in my last thread. it just makes no logical sense.
just let ppl loot&salvage whatever they want w/ no kill rights OR the opposite (kill rights if you touch mah stuff). one or the other, the current system just seems stupid "one more spam thread will get you a warning. - Thanks Hutch. " isn't a warning of a warning a warning? or just a warning of a warning? didnt he just get 'the warning'?

Personaly I'd like to see wreack salvaging of some one elses wreak flagged like Loot stealing but that aint going to happen so fit salvager or a salvager and a tractor beam onto your ship and salvage it that way.
Excuse me whle I do a Rant. _____________________________________________________
One thing I'd like to say though to a certain some one from a certain thread left un-named:
What do you mean Salvage don't have our name's on it, the Wrecks are what you slavage and they have our corp tickers on them and you click for info you'l see our mug's on them. ______________________________________________________
Rant over, but I have to say it dosen't matter how much we Rave and rant it wont get Nowt Done, CCP is not going to change it so I am sorry jstrap but you may have adapt so you can keep your salvage.
Saying that lol...I destroyed my own Salvage once as some guy trie dto take it should have herd the smack from him

…and as we pointed out in that thread: it makes perfect sense, considering what "salvage" is – you just chose to ignore it. |
