They knew where to find us -- they were being camped. What you did was the same thing your clients did -- chase the one guy in our corporation who is a June 2008 character rather than coming after the real fleet. And even then he happily ran missions with three of you in system (bring a prober next time, cough cough). For you, and anyone else wanting to get into the merc game, take notes: Merc work is not as glamorous as you have it in your head to be. It involves long hours of hunting patrols, even longer hours of camping, and generally only after hours, if not days, of boredom will you get your targets to engage you for five minutes and then never see them undock for the remainder of the campaign. If you retracted your other war after 24 hours because your targets wouldn't undock, that is an epic fail. Your job as a merc is to disrupt your targets behavior. If that means ruining a day of eve by camping them 9 hours straight, well that's what you got paid to do. Believe me if you camp them for a week straight they are going to start begging your client to call the dogs off because they are unable to make isk or even play eve at all. If this is not appealing to you, you should check out FW instead of mercenary work because you'll get a lot more pvp that way. If it's "not worth it, plain and simple no" you are in the wrong line of work my friend. To your credit, though, your client did give you bad intel on what timezone we were in, where we hung out, etc. ROFL Just my two cents.
