Why is it all armor and hull repair items go in low slots but yet all shield repairing items go in the mid slots. Caldari gets the shaft when it comes to electronic warfare because we have to worry about our tank so we don't get popped.

Can I buy you a clue with 'EW is your tank'?
If you are going into a fight vs more ships than you can jam, you picked the wrong fight to uncloak in -- A guy walks into the psychiatrist wearing only clingfilm for shorts. The shrink says, "Well, I can clearly see you're nuts." |

Because variety is the spice of life. And it would be mind numbingly boring if all races/ships were the same, don't you think?

Because they have to give up tackling gear and/or e-war for tank. ---------------- Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.83 (Updated 7/3) |

Never really thought about it since I've never had a non-Caldari character , but it is pretty shitty now that you mention it.
Is there ANY non-buff module that goes into a low slot?

Huh? Oh you mean like a cargo expander! No,.. that buffs your cargo room..
Well, there's armor plate! No,.. that buffs your armor HP,..
Ahh, WCS's! Well,.. even that kinda buffs your ability to ninja poof away,..
Hmm,.. what low-slot module is available that doesn't do anything?

Why should there be differences between races? They only cause balancing issues. Make the races the same and there'll be no more forum whines.

I'm with you, and ffs why so many different modules too. Just give us a bunch of condors with light missiles and an arena area for consensual PVP! |

To quote Zero Punctuation: "And if one day we all find ourselves playing Captain Bland's monotonus adventure in between toiling in the off-world mines, I just want to say that I frakking called it," That's EVE without races. It's just Cpt. Bland and his friend's monotonous adventure.

Whiskey tango foxtrot mate?
Shield tanking ships can use both low and mid slots directly for tank. Armor tankers need all their low's for tank. If you want speed, or more gank, or whatever other low slot module other than tank, you have to think very carefully about what are you willing to sacrifice.

Get your facts straight, hull repairers are mid slot items.
