The Amarrian stood silent on his bridge. His crew anxiously went about there duties. He stood analysing the long range sensor scans.
"Sir we are ready to jump into TRO7-S system. Awaiting your orders" One of the Caldari ensigns announced.
The amarrian turned around and glared at the ensign.
"Very well, congratulations gentlemen. We've completed the hard part. It's all down hill from here, we'll be home by this time tomorrow." A little smile forced it's way through his stern face as he compelted his sentence.
The crew of the [OC]Redeamer was part of the C4 task force sent down to Esotria and Paragon Soul to fight Stain and CFS forces. The task force had been recalled so that C4 could focus on the defense of curse, but the Redeamer had been trapped deep behind enemy lines when the recall was made and was thus stuck. After navigating it's way through to Xetic space (friendly in the eyes of the C4 and Curse Allinace) it had finally completed this difficult task, or so it had thought.
"Jump Ensign" HatePeace singaled.
With that the almighty vessel vapourised through the stargate and made it's way several light years away to another system.
It was clean sailing for the next couple of systems. Hatepeace sat back and began to almost drift off. Then one of the control pannels began letting of a slight high pitched noise. One of the bridge crew ran towards it and then stared back at Hatepeace.
"Two Xetic rifters approach off our rear. Their hailing us sir." The young crewmen announced.
"Put it on the main view screen." Hatepeace replied.
A hollogram of the combat pilot appeared in the middle of the bridge.
"This is captain Waagaa of the Celstial Horizon fleet. State your purpose. Xetic Space is closed."
Hatepeace raised an eyebrowe.
"Closed?" He replied.
"Indeed, no none Xetic ships allowed in Xetic Space. We will escort you to the border." He sat back awaiting Hatepeace's reply.
"I'm afraid that won't be possible. We simply require your passage of space to return to Curse. We're just moving through." Hatepeace replied once agian, his tone somewhat fustrated.
"I'm sorry Captain...?" He asked
"Captain HatePeace LoveWar, of the Omega Corp." He informed the combat pilot.
"Captain LoveWar, but i'm afraid my orders are to allow no ships to pass." said Waagaa
"They've warp scrambled us sir" Hatepeace's ensign informed him.
"Captain Waagaa, this is highly un-neccisary, i cannot possibly turn around now, i would be sending my crew to their deaths asking them to go via Stain or CFS space." Hatepeace was growing more and more fustrated. He had been sat down in the bottom end of the Paragon soul, at the other side of the universe from his home, fighting a campaign that benefited the same people that were now stopping him from going home.
Stain and Xetic at the time had also been at war, with the C4 task force smashing the Stain southern fleet it prevented Stain incursions along the southern border of Xetic space. Exactly where this situation was unfolding.
"I am merley following orders sir." The captain looked resentful. Hatepeace agreed with loyalty, but this was madness. In a political term Xetic and CA were friends. Yet the Xetic pilot was sending the CA ship to certain death, by doing the right thing, following orders.
"Then who issues your orders and may i speak with them now?" Hatepeace demanded.
"I'm afraid i cannot get in contact with any superiors at this momment. You'll have to turn around or be shot at i'm afraid" (OOC NOTE: They were offline at the time).
Another high pitched tone sounded from the console.
"Sir a megathron class battleship just appeared on our rear. It's close up sir, armed with Blasters i reckon, it'll tear us apart" The ensign blurted.
He was right as well, the Scorpion class ship was only equiped for fleet engagement, it had the ability to dampen the megathrons sensors but the fact that the distance between the vessels was so low, that it didn't need sensors to hit it kinda nullfied Hatepeace's advantage.
He was down a dark ally, alone, pants down, back bent and a knife to his throat.
A small drop of sweat ran down the side of Hatepeace's cheek. He swallowed and then raised himself from his chair.
"How dare you. How dare you even threaten the lives of those who have prevented you from losing yours. We've spent 3 months fighting down here, dying down here. You lot sat back and defened your borders. Were ok with that, i can udnerstand if you cannot mount a full offensive. I can also understand you eventually signing the nap with Stain. But to prevent us from returning home, from seeing our families, our friends and our loveones... because you have orders?" Hatepeaces tone changed he paused. "Captain to Captain Waagaas, you know i cannot turn this ship around. You know there is only one way this ship will return home. I will personall see too it that you are not punished for this.

Your superiours will appreciate the decision of you letting this ship past. As otherwise, i assure you that the destruction of this ship will lead to war. This small incident could bring about the deaths of many of our bretherin. Captain to Captain Waagaa... i ask you to let me go." He sat back down and stared intently into the eyes of the holographic combat pilot.
Captain Waagaa looked nervous and confused. He understood exactly where Hatepeace was comming from, but his duty important to him. The decision that came next would confuse historians and war analysts for years to come. Waagaa could have let the ship go, a one off, a favour for a onetime friend. They doubt even his superiors would have cared. ore to the point, from hatepeaces understanding he was allowed to be there. The nap states as follows.

What happend next shook the southern world of eve. It sent it into further war, further depression and furhter bloodshed.
"Sir the megahtron is firing on us, shields are down to 65%." One of the ensigns screamed.
The bridge shook and hatepeace stared back at the captain. The scorpion was getting torn apart at close range by the blasters of the megathron.
"Return fire" Hatepeace orderd. But it was feutile.
He stared into the face of the captain waagaa.
"What have you done? May your children forgive you" With that a huge flash covered the bridge and the once majestic battleship exploded into millions of pieces of debris.
And so the redeamer war begins... the death of the OC Redeamer Scorpion class battleship is the signing of death papers for many others.

Aye great post.
It's kinds the same situation that started the Minbarri/Human war.
But i can guarantee the Diplomats on both sides will go into damage control and fix things up.
A war between Xetic/Ca is kinda pointless mainly due to the distances involved to fight each other effectivly. It would also create a zone far more dangerous than it is now in catch and not to mention CA will have to divert forces from the m0ovelotion attacks.
Neither side has anything to gain, and it was caused over something trivial that, quite correctly, the Xetic leaders wouldn't of cared for and let the ship through.
Had i been on i would of let you get through, it was most likely my usual time for it to happen as well.
What has happened, has happened.
I can understand CA's reaction and frankly dont blame them.
But its a pointless war to commit to logistically.
Both Xetic diplomats and Ca diplomats will work this out and repair the damage.
But as a final point Xetic is trying for utmost neutrality. Effectivly we are switzerland during ww2. We cannot give favours to either side and that is why this has come about. If both SA and CA started using Xetic space as a thoroughfair we will be seeing combat in our space or one side accusing us of helping there enemy etc etc.
We emphasise Netrality. We are swiss

I so love all the miss information and such.
But the truth of the matter it all started with some lack of communication. Mainly on our behalf.
Xetic have changed the policies of xetic space without informing CA at all.
Ca still believed the old NAP agreement from eons ago was the status quo.
No one informed CA who should of been informed and CA didn't realy bother to chat with Xetic as everything *was* all fine and dandy.
So now CA has found out the hard way.
and Xetic will pay for it.
Theres an ever growing number of people in Xetic who wanna fight but have our hands tied behind our backs due to the pacifist nature of Xetic. This will also cause problems. At this moment there are small groups of Xetic pilots trying to hunt CA pilots in Xetic space.
Xetic will not for the moment push a force into any Curse teritories.
My own personal opinion, and i dont care if anyone in xetic want's to slap my wrist for it.
Bring it on.
If xetic dies at the hands of CA or anyone for that matter then it deserves to die.
If we survive and prosper...

There will be no Official word from CA, until such time as The High Council has had time to discuss and decide on a course of action. A word from leadership will be forthcomming within the next few days.
Until then, nothing here is concrete or official.

I find it quite hilarious you call of nutrality about CA and SA going through your space and try and deny them but when Xanadu comes along where are your patrols then? they seem to travel xetic space quite freely i think you would owe the pilot more than a scorpion replacement for your actions and also changing naps without telling anyone is retarded should that mean CA should change their nap and not tell you create a base in xetic base because its now "CA policy to spy on its neighbours" sorry we didn't tell you about it so in effect you have already broken the nap weather you want to repair it is up to you and the pilot that was in the incident.

I am really sorry for that loss of a fine crew, Reverend Necrona, actually ôHatePeace LoveWarö.
And I am sure there would have been a possible way to compensate you in an appropriate manner, if it was not clear (and as the chat logs show you were aware off) that you can't use Xetic space as pass through. Never the less no compensation is good enough for the losses of life.
On the other hand as a responsible captain, it's your job to take care of your crew and ship and you were informed with a long talk that you can't pass. Instead you resisted all the way.
As of our neutral nature, we can't let either SA nor C4 and CA pass our borders and on a side point, we are not allowed to pass through your region.
An incident like this is no reason to start a full attack on Xetic territory, taking stations and killing innocent (not equipped with war equipments) pilots like it just happened.
So your behaviour not getting along with our rules could be simple be seen as a provocation of war (as could be seen by the call sign of your pilot ôHatePeace LoveWarö. Are you in thirst for war?
My request to any CA pilot, who is now in our territory, is to leave immediate Xetic space. So the harm will not be too big, on both sides, and a ground of neutrality could arise again.

xanadu never moved freely through xetic space. they sent a moderate sized battlefleet around our extreme furthest border to strike at CA in the detorid region. we had patrol craft around them and CA were informed as soon as we were aware of what was going on. i myself was shadowing the fleet, xanadu did not respond to hails in local and i informed p0ma of the situation - we had an hour or so before had a chat in catch about a m0o blockade in HED.
for a very long time now xetic has struggled to maintain neutrality between 2 large antagonistic powers. never have we willingly opened our space for travel to ANYONE but if a corp decides to bumrush 20 ships on a shortcut through your regions then there's not much that can be done about it. we strenuosly deny all allegations of favouritism towards ANY alliance or corp in the game - when temerlyn said we are the swiss he didn't just mean we are neutral, we are also extremely paranoid 
as for this war, this looks like a case of honour besmirched and those wronged demand satisfaction. i am confident that an interstellar bloodbath will be averted through diplomatic efforts and we can all get back to business.
