Everyone talks about how the north is NAPed, and how bad it is, but at least it is a relationship of equals. So, being a bob pet: good or bad?

So you think the north have a relationship of equals do you?
On the subject of being a BoB pet, its ok. After the first few times you hardly feel a thing.

The thing with the NAP entities is that every once in awhile, seemingly for no reason whatsoever, one of them gets the urge to do a total standings reset so they can use their former NAPmates as target practice.
At least the BoB pets don't tend to get shot at one day by BoB and then set to blue again the day after.

BOB has only ever looked after and never turned hostile on any of its blues/pets
ask anyone in xelas, fix, rise, mc, fountain, ask the guy in imperium tech who's dread they killed the other day, ask one of their own members who's titan got stolen by them recently.
ask ccp, even one of their employess got coerced by them.
their list of curent 'close' allies aka pets is allegedly a refined finite list of 'pets' never to be added to, well lol, it's like reading a who's who of the nobody club, you got the backstabbers tercios, the pvp specialists called executive outcomes (when I say pvp specialists i mean awful, really awful, they die worse than flies) and finally after fix really finally died and even the most hardcore ppl left, you still got some ex, ex fix in there called frontal impact (imo should have goen for frontal lobotomy)
No-one else even worth typing about.
So is it good or bad? It's bad for them, in the long run, for both parties, but it's good for the rest of us..

Oh yeah I remember this. This was when someone who worked for a gaming company was coerced into performing some action by the people who pay subscriptions to play that company's game and who had never met or interacted with said employee in real life.
Wait a minute what.

That isn't really that good a burn man, flies are pretty tough. I mean have you tried killing one without chemical weapons or the insectoid equivelant of mass blobbing (i.e. a flyswatter).

Edited by: Kira Pasisson on 20/07/2008 17:21:16 Edited by: Kira Pasisson on 20/07/2008 17:20:22 well being a bob-ally brings loads of fun, lots of pewpew... the possibility to engage against the odds (and not only sitting in a system for eternity cause the hostile fleet is a bit bigger). and btw., i thought the definition of a pet includes "paying for space"... all we do is fighting together, every day, against any odds, no cowardice, no mercy... and when i see that ra abandoned the nc today although they were helping to defend a ra-system....kk.... still, those of the nc who fight together and die together as we do, can not really be considered as a naptrain (but as allies, as the gbc is)... so i guess this term refers to those blue guys who never show up when u need them and who got only the intention to rat and mine safe in their belts...... just my 2cents

Against the odds? So far BOB mustered 21 alliances/corps (22 with bob included) against the northern nine.

Edited by: Kira Pasisson on 20/07/2008 17:34:48 Edited by: Kira Pasisson on 20/07/2008 17:29:31 against the odds means that i have participated in many bob-ops where we engaged ountnumbered 3:2, 2:1 or even higher, and by outnumbered i also include outmatched by terms of ships.... still we could win some of these fights and engaged even when we know that we could prolly loose, just for the sake of a fight, some may call it madness, but nevertheless it shows a difference to many others....e.g. those who only fight when they are sure they win^^
and btw....watch a bit the size of the fleets up there...and on the size of some alliances/corps participating^^

I am not an alt, a resident of Delve.
I can confirm that BoB has a lot of pet corps and alliances. I also have experience living in the north, and honestly I don't see any major difference.
If people gonna throw accusations of north nap-fests, then be ready to take accusations of being BoB pets.

I think, from reading your posts, that you could be the king of 'don't know', theres not a single thing in any of your posts in this thread that is true, I could refute your points one by one but I can't be bothered, your simply a modern bob pet and I'm just glad that you're posting and would encourage you to continue to post, because you make BOB look even more idiotic than they already look.
