Talisman has posted a Dev Blog with buy-back pricing and information. It also touches on the Jovian items that have not been used in this part of the event.

ummm...

...limited blueprints revolving around the cloaking technology. The exact blueprints have not been chosen yet, but will include the skills for operating the cloaking devices.
1. no one's getting a cloaking device 2. no one's building a cloaking device 3. we might have bps for people to make skillbooks, which would be an interesting first but...
it seems like the best we're gonna hope for is a jumpstart on training what you need to use the cloaking device.
Not that this is a terribly bad thing, or an unbalanced reward. But it seems like the last few days have been a real Rube Goldberg way to go about it...
i still think it's really just an experiment to see if 1000 eve players can get together to agree on *anything*

You might well be right, it's possibly a test of players feelnig of attachment to one race or another.. to test the race vs corp loyalties perhaps with an eye on future storyline possibilities.
Otherwise I can't see much point to the whole affair which surely just pee's on solo players and small corporations from a great height, yet again.
Unless you're in a well organised alliance or a very large corp how are you gonna get anything out of this little event?

the theory (not saying it works) seems to be that the big guys get something out of CCP, the medium guys from allying with/at the big guys, and the small guys get whatever they can bargain for from the big guys.

Actually I disagree.. those that put in more effort than others are bound to get the benefits (ie. cloaking).. so regardless if you are in a big corp, an alliance, a small corp, or a solo player, if you are working your ass off for your race's cause (like the gallente or caldari ones) chances are you're probably in the running for a piece of the cloaking pie
if not.. then you've been had

I don't want to swap my portrait entirely. All I would like to see in the game is a simple button under my pic in the charselection screen named "change portrait". From there I'd like to be able to alter stuff like the backround, lighting, clothes or a bit of the facial expression. I do not want to change my portrait entirely and I do not think that this should be possible at all because it totally breaks the immersion.
Give me a simple ingame way to alter my portrait. That's all I want.

Crappy Jovian gifts, notwithstanding.
I'm just happy to see my near favorite Mod Queen.
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.
