AIM and AOL is by far the most laggy messenger available. Why oyu'd even want that INSIDE eve is beyond my understanding.

Because then CCP would have to get together with the AIM developers, probably pay them something, and then spend development time on something that would have no ****ing use? Seriously, if you must use AIM while playing EVE, then play in windowed mode (Alt + enter). Or just get xfire.

This.
And shit, think of how terrible the normal AIM client is and multiply that by the amount of terrible the in-game browser is. There you go. ---------------- Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.83 (Updated 7/3) |

PCGamer did an article on chat clients that could be integrated into various games which wouldn't alter performance. AIM wasn't one of them. __________________________________________________

Doubt it, I'm pretty sure the IGB can't use any javascript at all, which AIM Express certainly uses. ---------------- Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.83 (Updated 7/3) |
