One day about a week ago, I was out in 0.0 I had some snot nose noob try to pick a fight with me. He told me that he could take me no matter what I flew. I just happened to have my Moros in the station, so I undocked it and threw it into siege mode. After a while of him firing some T1 rail guns at me, I decided to light him up like a christmas tree. It took me less than 30 seconds to toast his destroyer, and his pod. Do you all think it was overkill, or a lesson to stay out of 0.0 until you can actually put up a fight?

It took you 30 seconds to kill a dessy ?
and why siege mode ?
And 30 seconds to kill the dessy AND the pod is a lie; it takes what 180 seconds to lock a pod in siege ?

You do know that when you are asleep and dreaming its not actually happening right? And less than 30 sec's to kill a noob in a dessy with your cap, could have done it sooner in a ceptor, and if hes such a noob a good ceptor would pwn him and his pod.

Your asking if using a cap ship to pop a destroyer is overkill?

Well I guess lesson learned.
It is interesting that you dropped into siege however, imagine if he had a cyno fitted on that ship of his

I let him take shots at me for a while, then I let him have it. It would have been funny if he would have dropped a cyno, then I wouldn't have felt guilty for the few seconds before I killed him.

TBH, though, considering that killing carriers and dreads isn't really thread worthy anymore what on earth made you think you would get anything but flames when posting a thread about killing a T1 Destroyer?
And If I were your CEO I'd probably have kicked you from corp for risking a cap asset to kill a T1 destroyer which, frankly, based on what you were saying was very likely hotdrop bait.
You should be the one thanking your lucky stars that the dessy pilot didn't have a cyno.

Its possible to kill a destroyer within 30seconds in a sieged dread, but not his pod.

I would call him all of the above because no one with a functioning brain would fit a moros like that.

So ya sat there for 10 minutes doing nothing in 0.0 to kill a destroyer.... so... What was your damage on the destroyer and when you sieged why didn't he just fly away ? I believe the OP is: troll, liar, dementia, or most likely the destroyer pilot.
