Concerning the course of events that will follow the reclaiming of the Imperial Apocalypse class battsleship during the BIG lottery by our hands, IONSTAR has the following to proclaim:
In true spirit of the House of Kador which we are loyal to, the Imperial Apocalypse will be given to it's righteous owners, the Royal Amarr Navy and the Emperor, today at 23:00 eve time.
We believe that this symbol of faith, truth and all the virtues true Amarrians stand for must be returned to serve the greater good.
Furthermore, we call for all loyal Amarr pilots to lay their guarding hand over the ship return procession, to minimize possible pirate and terrorist intervention. Underground sources are bustling with speculations about attacks on the security forces that will shuttle the ship to its destination in the Amarr Throne Worlds.
We depend on you, brothers and sisters, to keep heathen influence away from the sacred artifact. Do your duty as citizens of the one true empire, and let Tachyons talk to those who try to stain the purity of this beacon of light!
In loyalty and faith,
Braccas IONSTAR Chief Executive Officer
Evelyn Atrada IONSTAR Secretary of Production

Edited by: Aarvness on 30/05/2004 17:50:19 Well done to Ionstar Corp for having the willpower to give away such an excellent BS. Look hard and long at Clone 0's list of options ppl and ask yourself what would you do .
Option C for me as well
I enjoyed the draw evening immensely BIG/EVE-Radio , even though it was drawn out somewhat by the geniuses of mOo Corp but this just added to the drama of the whole event.
As for the rest of you stop being so bitter. You just have to realise that as in life you are also a loser in-game. It's just business...and maybe just a little bit personal

Let it be known that loyalty to the emperor can extend beyond racial lines.
The Amarr empire has been my home for almost a year; Ionstar has been my family for even longer. I owe my prosperity and knowledge about the galaxy to both, and will die defending the honor of either.
Let those who whould defile the reputation of my closest allies burn with unending fire.
Long live the Emperor! Long live Amarr! Long live IONSTAR!

I can't wait to hear how it went. (Events always seem to be while I'm at work. ARGH!) Never forget, a Jack-of-all-trades is master of none. |

i was at the battle, and the impoc escaped before i could get a shot at it. fast thing.... anyways, my ship got blown up by some PIE, and the rest of my suicidal corp mates went on to fight the impoc (i think). my game crashed from all the lagg and all the errors. so i dont know what happened after that. ----------------------------------------------- CANADIAN |

For those who whern't there: amarr succeded, and the impoc was transfered succesfully. there were many small fleets, and individual players on both sides, the biggest being a fleet of over 20 battleships belonging to pie. Clone 0 (the pilot of the impoc) was awarded a medal, and pie a pax ammarra, signed by the emporor himself. there were many attacks, and many kills with a estimate of over 300 participating in the event. --- 'Sweeden Steel Bite hard'

PIE would like to thank IonStar for their noble gesture in returning the Imperial Apoc to the Empire.
We also wish to thank our fellow CVA pilots who helped us including Imperial Dreams and Dark Seraph as well as other corps including Elite Force and BlackSheep who all played a role in seeing the successful return of the Imperial Apoc despite the efforts of massed Minmatars.
Some pictures:
PIE musters fleet
The battle at the Boranai gate in Kador Prime
Massed ships outside Emperor Station in Amarr salute the successful return of the Imperial Apoc
(Unfortunately some careless driving severely damaged the two Apocs in the last picture )

Wow, that looked like a hell of a thing. Though I can't tell where the Impoc is in that mess. Does someone happen to have a pic of JUST the Impoc? Never forget, a Jack-of-all-trades is master of none. |

I missed the event.
I really wanted to come along but i ran into some Guristas just a couple of hours before and got my cruiser shot down. by the time i had built a new one and kitted it out its was too late.
Oh well im sure there will be equally fun events in the near future

Thank you to all loyal defenders during this amazing event... Despite almost constant Computer Telemetry Disruption (ctd) I was able to see and appreciate the effort made by our staunch and loyal allies.
Please post more images/video from your flight logs, if you have them. There are some great ones here already!
Thanks again to all who showed up, in whatever capacity you chose to participate!

The only reason we got shot by concord and the gate guns was because we were shooting at a ship of a non-warring party in a high security system. PIE/CVA were shooting at people in corps they were at war with. My video shows one Apoc exploding as a result of Gate Guns or Concord. That apoc probably shot at a fellow he was not at war with. -- minmatar.net - United Minmatar News & Forums |

I didnt think this was an event, i was in there and i didnt spot anyone i could attack, only saw lots of lasershows and people getting shot down my sentrys and concord (who did almost all the killing)
i just hope future events will be more fun, because this one was a big waste of my time
good that the ship make it through though

all the ships at the gate to Boranai messed most of our ships scanners and targetting systems also some non involved parties seemed to lock both sides randomly to add to the confusion. PIE was engaged by sentries and concord in this skirmish.

In the name of IONSTAR corporation I am proud to announce the successful completion of the Imperial Apocalypse's return.
Once again it became clear that loyalty is worth more than all the ISK one can amass. In a glorious procession, the sacred ship was piloted by our honorable member Clone 0 and valiantly defended by our CEO Braccas, our electronic warfare specialist Ric Tishek, our brave cadets Spoony and Skurerer, our seasoned veterans Ixion and Chong, my humble person and last, but by far not least our trusty companions from PIE Inc. and numerous other allies, whose spirit of unity and vigilance shall be remembered long after we have turned to dust.
May your shields be warded by the powers of light, and your armor be hardened by your strong belief!
In gratitude,
von Steinroehder IONSTAR Foreign Affairs AttachÚ
