Hi
From my understsnding you should do missions for the state, including the storyline one's and keep grinding as many and at the highest level you can

Edited by: Braaage on 03/08/2008 10:22:11 As far as I know (and I can't think of any) it's impossible to raise standings without shooting something.
You can either do missions (as already stated) or kill lots and LOTS of NPC pirates for the factions Caldari dislike. Doing it the latter way will take months and months.
Edit - just though you could do non-combat missions actually, there are agents which give you hauling missions. --

- Visit the nearest DED Data Center and talk to the agents - Buy Guristas tags, and take them to the agent(s) for standings.

Indeed the data center is your only real option, although there are one or two cosmos missions that do not require combat and most of the items needed can be easily purchased.

Hmm, interesting answers - and all a little more complicated (or expensive) then need be imho.
Agent Missions (The following offer ZERO kill missions) Accounting: most Courier (fairly fast way) Archive: almost exclusively courier. Manufacturing: courier/mining Mining: duh, obvious what kind of missions here Production: courier/mining R&D: if your industry, you will need these - however, get info on each agent as you MUST have certain SKILLS to use them.
Please, let me know if they have changed these recently and I can edit this page for future reference.
Thanks H

Just do missions if you don't fire guns, do the courier type, to get to a faction standing of +7 you are looking at around 600 missions(every 16 gets a storyline these you must complete).....so you better get started...

Note: the mission for the R&D agents don't give standing, only RP points, but count for the 16 mission needed to get a storyline. So as they generally are very easy (get me tritanium or move this 0.5 m3 package 1-2 jumps) they are a good system to get soryline mission a bit faster (you can do only 1 mission for each R&D agent each day).

i flew to a data centre, and talked to the guy who give the tag mission. i accepted the mission, and just to try out, i bought 10 tags and gave them to him. i got my standing increase, but after that he didnt give me a second mission... why? ^^

I've done tons of ratting, and tons of missions, and missions are by far the quickest way to build faction. Another key component is the Connections skill. Get this and train up the first 2-3 levels and it will get you into lvl 2/3 mission quickly, i.e. higher faction quicker.

They only give one mission each, but there are several agents, each being a different level / quality. Each mission will give a standings increase.
