So I have got in a situation where its hard for me to run missions with Amarr anymore because i can't be close to my corporation... So therefor i wish to change agent.
Currently I can fly all Amarr ships but I am guessing doing missions for minmatar/gallente i can't use and Amarr ship.
I can fly all Gallente T1 ships (used to fly dominix, Gallente Battleship 4), but maybe i should go for a Raven, since I have cruise missile skills for Stealth Bomber already.
Idea's suggestions as for what ship to fly and also what would you recommend for someone in my situation to do missions for Minmatar or Gallente? ------------ Somebody set up us the bomb |

Raven all the way. It's definitely superior to your next best option, the Dominix. The Mael can do L4 I've heard, but slooooowwwlllyyy. ___

I started out running missions for Gallente, and have since moved over to a mix of Caldari and Minmatar agents, all the while flying either a Dominix or an Apocalypse.
The Apocalypse runs over Sansha, Blood Raiders, Rogue Drones, etc, with ease, and I've also managed well against Serpentis in one as well. The Dominix runs over everything, but mainly I stick to Angels and Guristas with it, due to the weakness to explosive in the former, and the constant jamming in the latter (yay for drones!).
So, really, you can fly whatever ship you want. Ravens can be fun to fly, but if you've already got yourself some tasty Amarr ships on hand, there's no need to run away from them.
Hope that is somehow helpful

You can use an Amarr ship, it just won't be ideal for all your enemies. With decent skills (BS V, Large Energy Turret V, excellent support skills), my Amarr and Minmatar (Typhoon) pilots blazed through AE the other day. The Armageddon was surprisingly effective against Angels (multifrequency + 5x Hammerhead IIs). They were not quite as fast as my Dominix + CNR duo, but I was impressed.
The Dominix, with sentry drones, is a wonderful ship for Gallente/Minmatar missions.
If I were you, I would use whatever ships you have the most SP invested in or can use the most effectively. If you are doing wonderful damage with an Amarr BS, it will BBQ any NPCs you find, even if its not by-the-book ideal damage type.
As for picking where to run missions, that's for you to find out. I work exclusively in Gallente space, and lately have had a lot of success working for Gallente/Minmatar agents in backwater areas. Just stay away from Dodixie. ------------

The Amarr ships begin to shine when you start to T2 fit them. Getting T2 guns on the ship makes for a day and night difference in performance when you come across the rats who are resistant to the laser EM/Therm damage.
I fly the Apoc now, and have no plans switching it out anytime soon. I'll be aiming for a Nightmare in the long run though, which should roll through most missions without too much hassle I'm thinking.

Yeah I have been able to do missions with my Apocalypse like Angel Extravaganza without a problem my only real problems is Guristas and Serpentis, but i think iam going for a raven as iam not far away from being able to us it.
Also If I accept a storyline mission for amarr then decline it i will ofcourse loose standings with amarr, but will i gain with the opposing factions such as minmatar and gallente? ------------ Somebody set up us the bomb |

No, you will not gain standings in this way. ------------

Ok too much to hope for ^^
I solved my problem by doing missions for Ammatar but I have a few questions:
Doing missions for Ammatar Faction, what enemies will I meet more frequently? With Amarr its Blood/Sansha so I figure Ammatar is the same or is Angels the primary ones? As an exampl everytime I get Blockade and Recon(1) I face Blood etc. you get the general idea ^^
Also since I now will be flying a Raven, what kind of tank is needed to tank the last room in Angel Extravaganza? Should 1000 DPS specific be enough? ------------ Somebody set up us the bomb |

Ammatar are a part of the Amarr empire. They are the voulentary slaves. So I would think working for them will hurt your standings with them.
If your standings are so busted up with them, i suggest you do mission with a corp m8 and help kill a lot of Amarr and Angle ships.

Maybe you could try Sisters of Eve (SoE)? They are a little hostile to Amarr and Caldari so you will lose some standing there, But it is likely that you aren't very hostile to them. And if you can group with someone who is running gallente or minmatar kill missions, that'll give you corp standing. So my take is run enough SoE storylines so that your Gallente and Minmatar standing inches over -2 (Minmatar will be slower because they are very hostile to Amarr and not as friendly to Minmatar). Meanwhile gang run (the other person actually contacts the agent) a bunch of kill missions with your favorite mission corps. Once you get corp standing up to 5 or so, then you should be able to find a decent level 4 agent to carry you as high as you need.

I am will start doing Missions with Ammatar because that will bring me closer to my corporation, but I have people in my corp who will help me boost standings with a Minmatar corporation so that I can run those solo later and do storylines etc.
So atm I have stopped doing storylines and will keep doing so, and I will bounce back and forth between a Ammatar and a Minmatar agent that are near eachother as soon as I reach that -2.50 limit again.
So as for Ammatar: Will I face mostly Angel rats or what will be my primary target working for them? ------------ Somebody set up us the bomb |

You need to have standings above -2.0 to work for an agent.
The skill Diplomacy will help out greatly in that regard. It will also boost the agent and corp standings that your friends help you build. Originally by: Elhina Novae So as for Ammatar: Will I face mostly Angel rats or what will be my primary target working for them?
The type of rat that you will face is primarily dependant on the type of rat found in the local belts. So to answer that question you would need to tell us what region you will be running missions in.
Secondarily, the type of rat that you will face is affected by the faction you work for. Ammatar will but you up against Sansha's. But this will be mostly overridden by the region where you work.

My Minmatar Faction is at 5.00 (-3.20 with Diplomacy 3), but I am still at -1.96 with Gallente so guess I have to work myself up from there then Really thaught my model would work.
Well thanks for all support for this 50/50 carebear ------------ Somebody set up us the bomb |
