Hey Guys
ive been trying to find a decent setup for the Bhaalgorn for gang PVP , debating wether to put maybe 4 guns on it and use the other 4 slots to use to take advantages of the Bonuses the ship gets, obviously using Dual webs in the mids, but unsure of the type of tank to use.
I know people will say dont put any guns on it at all as it is a support ship techincally but im just looking for some suggestions for setups.
Cheers.

Well, I like the 5 and 3 approach, 5 guns and 3 Heavy Neuts. That way you still ragekill their cap, but you still have some sort of DPS to work with.
I all use ECM drones, and get the rigs that lower the cost of running the Neuts...forget their exact name, but they rock.

Bhaalgorn doesn't really have a role in pvp as a hyena or rapier will web better and move faster, a curse or any other dedicated neut bs will neut better and any other bs will gank better. It's also lacking the mids for really small gang (mwd/scram/2x web/injector)
It looks very sexy though so if you can lose it, use it by all means. |

lol running 8 neuts you could basicly alpha any BS cap draining 300 cap per second. That on its own would cripple the cap stability of almost any functional capital. |

While true, two random other bses can do the same if fitted for it, for alot less isk.

Correct, as usual. :)
But I'd reckon its fun to do what 2 bsses could do. Thats what EVE is all about, fun :).

Also its the way stuff is in eve, get a little pay a lot...
BS up to carrier is a large step but a carrier is only the equivalent of maybe 3 or 4 BS tops but you pay well over twice what they're worth.
Also the ability to instantly stop any guns or tanking from an amarr or gallente BS it lolsome.

Web changes make me wanna sell mine Not that I regularly use it.... but I spent a lot of time and isk squeezing the modules I wanted for it.
Fit no more than 2-3 guns on it, 4hvy neuts and maybe a nos... mwd, cap injector, 2xdomi webs, domi disruptor Buffer tank in the lows + t2 armor rigs... if you have slaves, that's a lot of armor heh. (I have a talisman set but haven't even plugged it in...not worth it imo)
You realy can't compare it to curse, rapier, hyena and all that. Sure, those can web further, move faster and use less cap while sucking, but it can do "all" fairly well while having an immense buffer and ofcourse being a juicy primary....
Since everyone thinks after the speed nerf it will be all RR armor gangs, then maybe the bhaalgorn has some future.
What I'd like is at least "some" dps added to it... like a geddon drone bandwidth (no drone dmg bonus) and 175m3 dronespace. Boink! |

**** DPS,
fit for bonuses people.. the major bonus being to neuts mmk.
if your in a semi organised gang of 3+ people, nuking multiple capacitors at once > 300dps
i've played around with it a bit before and generally.. switching the enemie(s) off quickly seems to help more than ****ing in the wind at them.

That is like the ever-recalled 'haha phoenix + rapier = instapop bses', you hear it all the time on the forums but i've never ever seen it ingame. If there is a capital around, bhaalgorn is gonna be primary anyway..

Woot! Im back!
Anyway - As Sok pointed out, its neuting capabilities are that of two normal ships. If you have the isk, then its a good investment perhaps. But if i can see it as anything, i can see it in the same light as a black ops. My Widow is a bad scorp, and a bad raven, but combined. A Jack of all trades as it were. However, looking at the Bhaal, it WOULD be an extremely useful ship for small pirate gangs, taking on capitals. Dampen the cap with an arazu or similar, and sit with the Bhaal at long range. But be warned - With the web nerf, these ships will come down in price. So might be more viable.
I know for sure that im saving my iskies:P
