It's rare to see them tbh, but I would look to pay 2-3* the base price.. Makes me regret jumping out all my carriers and dreads from nonni back in the days :( ...

Thanks for your answer.
Yeah, makes me regret not anchoring a LSAA and building one when it was still possible.

Actually there are quite a few left in highsec from when you could build them.
I suggest talk to Chribba, if anyone knows it would be him. Please resize your signature to a maximum size of 400 x 120 pixels. Navigator |

There are capitals in high-sec for sure. I have my Veldnaught (Revelation) in Amarr (1.0) and there's a Phoenix in Sobaseki (0.8). And then there's probably some 10-20 random dreads and carriers located in 0.5-0.7 around the universe (I have a whole fleet of them in a 0.6).
They are relics from the days when you could either 1) Use stations, pre 2005, or 2) Use large ship assembly arrays. Nowdays there is no way to either get one in there or build one since CCP nerfed LSAA's about a year ago for the Rorqual introduction.
A high-sec cap can undock, fly around, JUMP OUT, but never return. You are not allowed to PVP in it or you will get moved to low-sec by GMs. However you may defend yourself IF aggressed (that only means defending, not aggressing a wartarget yourself afaik).
Mining if of course a great thing to use it for.
