They rolled it back.
We still await a dev post but I'm betting the next thing on sisi is a much less N3rf H4mM4R of D00M approach to everything. We can only hope.

Same happened with carrier stuff it just newer made it to test server. Still, I hope some of the changed make it but stuff like MWD reactivation delay and some weird mass additions hopefully wonŠt make the cut.

I'm guessing that they had the sense to not make so many radical changes at once. Their intentions were good, and most of their changes were fine, but I think it was too much at once to balance properly.
Let's all remember that proposed changes are just that until they reach TQ. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

According to the sticky the changes are still going through as planned in EA1.1.. just that they dropped the MWD reactivation delay.
I'm really looking forward to the dev blog to see what all they're planning on dropping and keeping.

Id say a vaga with full HG snakes or a fully bonused claymore going that speed is ok, with other snaked hacs hitting 5ish. Any slower and you may as well take hacs out of the game.

Gotta love ccp's idea of dmg types lol
explosive, kinetic, thermal and em.
Interesting considering a normal explosion is thermal and kinetic, a nuke is em, thermal and kinetic.
So purely thermal dmg type.... ok
Purely kinetic dmg type....ok
Purely em dmg type.... ok
Or even a mix of some/all...ok.
But wtf is explosive supposed to be that makes it separate from those above ffs?.

Explosive probably means leftover ammunation of all sorts picked up at the junkyard and made into new rounds

My zealot goes 2kms. most people dont even bother locking a hac with a permarunning mwd. as long as im not in web range, thats all that matters. my curse goes 1km/s . its plenty fast enough. the slow crap cant run away and dies, hacs try to do a gank and die, the fast stuff runs away. And people say the amarr recons suck... they havent flown them lately.

That's not how I understood it. EA 1.1 was being tested on July 18th, as seen HERE. Nozh's DevBlog wasn't posted until July 25th. From what Nozh wrote in his sticky post, they're still testing and will get back to us in the new DevBlog, but I didn't see anywhere in his post that said these changes were going through in EA 1.1.

That's good.. I was not looking forward to flying my TQ Tempests with absurd agility.. and def not looking forward to the UBER PWN MISSILES OF DOOM until CCP figured out a fix for that. Thx <3

I also read this as EA 1.1 is rolling out possibly without the nano-nerf. Nano-nerf is being tested more or being refined on multiplicity.
Next dev blog on speed will be interesting and probably have more definitive answers on what we will see on TQ. --

They did not exist when it first came out but after they came out some ppl did rat in the tanked ishy but thats it tbh. Can you give a list of good pvp reasons why to fly a HAC instead of a BC if this stupid nerf goes through?.

Half the Sig radius, higher resists, more ship bonuses, faster and more maneuverable are okay reasons.

"Half the BASE sig radius" is more accurate, and that means what in pvp at cruiser level bud?.
"Higher resists" so are you saying a hac costing 100+ mil can tank better and is worth flying more than a BC costing next to nothing if you include insurance.
They were faster and more maneuverable enough to be worth flying now they are not fast or maneuverable enough to be of any use at all.
A simple no would have sufficed instead of the paper tiger crap you just spouted.

Half the Sig radius
Erm... base sig radius... but with an MWD active that doesn't matter... with Shield Extenders or Shield Resist rigs... it winds up with just as big a sig radius... and it's not like cruisers don't already take almost full dmg from BS weapons anyway, and already take full damage from other cruiser weapons (Battlecruisers/Command Ships)... which totally invalidates your point.
Originally by: Ivy Volari
, higher resists,
Not really... drake's resists are just as good, if not better.... and, in general, BC's have far more fitting room for tanks which more than makes up for the difference in BASE resists.
Originally by: Ivy Volari
more ship bonuses,
Not really.. the Tier 2 Battlecruisers have almost as many... and in many cases have BETTER bonuses...
Originally by: Ivy Volari
faster and more maneuverable are okay reasons.
Not anymore (speed changes if they aren't reduced drastically) they aren't.
