who has flown 30+ jumps, through 0.0 bubbles on gates to go to a remote system to set up a jump clone to finally find a station that has it only to realize you forgot to train the informorph psychology skill.... -------

Never did that, but did the rather popular "need to haul something 30 systems, arrive and realise you left it where you started" variation.

I'm a big fan of buying a skillbook twice, with 'heading off without ammo' coming a close second.

Ya, I did that last night. Fortunately my alt will need that skill within the next couple of days.

Bought the skill book, found I did not have the skills to train it and forgot about it. Week later thought it would be nice to train the same skill again, bought the book... again and found I did not have the required skills... still. Trained said skills and bought the skill book the third time.
I am too forgetfull sometimes

lvl up to 5 the memory
worst thing i have done was seeing the courier story line without actually talking to the agent. 7 jumps to pick up point just to realise i have to make another 7 jumps back to accept the mission first before the actual 14 jumps in total. good thing we dont pay isk at each jump

You can take that a step farther... after making 7 jumps back to accept the mission, take off for the destination again without the package.

i would have pod my self had i done that in the particular mission, as it would mean more borring jumps (not that in other missions i have not done it). sounds like i am getting old and forgeting things more often now.

How about making a 20 jump collection run to pick up stuff from buy orders and the whole time you're making jumps you forget to dock and pick any of the stuff up because you got too busy chatting?

From my recent mission running binge:
Forgetting to re-tank the mission ship for the new mission.
Forgetting to unload the spoils only to realize you have a full hold when you go to start looting.
Somehow going to the wrong system for the mission (I am not sure how I did this, but managed to go 4 jumps from base before I realized that the mission was only 1 jump from base... in the opposite direction.)
Forgetting that I lost most of my drones in the last mission only to realise it when trying to kill a scrambling frig with 2 of the wrong damage type light drones (yay for good tanks).
Warping off from the mission leaving 5 Ogre 2's in the cleared out mission space... (That one was really annoying, I did manage to track them down with the anathema and recover them however). -=^=-

In my old 0.0 sovereign space the rats were camping more often then my old alliance or our allies. When would roam, many times most action would be gate rats .
But that aside I am glad I am not the only one that does all the above.

I often forget my drones in mission space. I have confirmed I am not the only one as ninja salvagers report they often find drones in mission space.

I also took a courier mission, and then forgot to take the package.
I have also set a destination to pickup something via the assets menu, then realized once I reached my destination that it was the wrong one!.
Was hauling ore the one time, got distracted by rats, had to warp to station in neighboring system for repairs, when I went back to carry on, I hadn't emptied my cargohold!
Undocked without repairing first more than once, lost two drones quickly that way, as they had no armor, and almost no hull!
Have also jumped to a gate, on seeing the name wondering why it is so unfamiliar, and then realizing it's the wrong gate!.
and then some for all of the abovementioned brain lockups!

Please, moar poast.
It's damn fun to think about the look in your face when you do that. I suppose mine would be just as hilarious, since basically I already did everything posted here, at least once. --- Kate [HKG, PXF] "The game with voices, that you can't win, nor finish." |

Thought I was being really clever and getting ahead of the game by buying a new frigate, only to have the exact same one given to me in the next mission

No but I once found a wreck and went to salvage it in my deadspace/poly II crow (1.5b at the time, it was worth). Didn't have rats on my tab, half way through salvaging the wreck I went *pop*.
Stupid angel rats.
The other really dumb thing I remember doing back in the day was this:
"Warp to Zero" has been a relatively recent change for Eve - it wasn't like that for most of 2006 and before. Before WTZ, people would make "instas" - bookmarks 15km "in front" of the object you were trying to reach, so you'd warp to the BM at 15km, landing more or less on top of the object you wanted.
People traded and made BMs for entire regions (eventually removed and replaced with WTZ). I was going from Jita to the Great Wildlands and using the instas, I got to within 2 jumps of my destination in Insmother. With silly 0.0 system names, I never really paid much attention to the system names, only which BM I needed to warp to on my route - it either said "approach" (the one I just came from) or "Warp to within 15km" (thje one i wanted to warp to). Something went wrong somewhere ebcause I somehow ended up making 32 jumps in the WRONG direction, when I was only 2 jumps out. I wasn't paying attention, but thought it was taking longer than usual. Then I ended up in N-RAEL and I was like "wtf?". Wasted a good hour on that one. --

I'm good at undocking with damaged drones.
It would be worse if I'm flying Gallente ships, I know, but it is still pretty bad since I don't enjoy losing my tech 2 drones.

Jumping into an asteroid belt, reporting on the size and composition of rats. Then setting warp to next asteroid belt when rats start shooting... except I can't align and they kill me.
