As a reference for my own RP on whom my character would most likely have standing with, and not with, I worked out the business relations of the Tash-Murkon Family corporation from the information given on Back Story / Organizations pages. I am guessing that these may be out of date, and missing things that were changed with news articles, PF, and whatnot. But the nearest I could figure out for the Tash-Murkon Family was the below. Does anyone have any gaps they could fill in that I missed, or things that changed? Also does anyone else have a similar write up on their patron corp/faction that they can share? I am guessing it can only help to add to the role-play of others also knowing these relations. Thanks.
The Tash-Murkon have a partial ownership in Amarr Trade Registry. By extension this gives the Tash-Murkon a second step business relation with Ducia Foundry and Nurtura whom are partners with the Amarr Trade Registry. And a distant business relation with Nefantar Miner Association through Ducia Foundry, and Food Relief through Nurtura. The Tash-Murkon family itself also has a direct partnership with the Civic Court.
Their direct competitor is the Court Chamberlain. And their indirect competitors from their partnerships and holding are,
Imperial Shipment and Prosper, the competitors of the Amarr Trade Registry. Kador Family the competitor to the Civic Court. Ministry of Assessment and Carthum Conglomerate the competitors to Ducia Foundry. Further Foodstuffs and Joint Harvesting the competitors to Nurtura. And Minmatar Mining Corporation the competitor to Nefantar Miner Association. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

Some of the info on those pages is out of date, but in general I would describe the Kador family and their allies to be the most diametrically opposed faction to Tash-Murkon. That being said, none of the traditional families are particularly fond of the Tash-Murkon (there was a stink about it awhile back in the news articles when the heirs spoke out).
My patron family (Sarum) is involved in the arms industry/navy and has strong ties to Carthum which, in turn, has strong ties to Lai Dai. Viziam on the other hand is Kador-allied.

Do you mean this incident, from when Cerda Bashatar of the Kor-Azor made accusations against Gavit Torash of Tash-Murkon? / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

No, I think it was an earlier one where Ardishapur was expressing his discontent with having an Udorian heir around.

Yep, that's it. Point is, Tash-Murkon is the ugly stepchild they're not fond of... jealously might be a good part of it too since they're so rich. I'd keep and eye on Republic/Thukker relations because any change in that fluff--like a union--would probably result in similar unions in other Empires eg. Amarr/Khanid and that might spell trouble for 'em.
