So, i have seen two strange flying things in my life, one at night, zooming all over the sky at acute angles when I was 13, at first i thought it was a black hole distorting the path of light from a star, even perhaps aliens contorting the light from their star trying to communicate with the universe? The second was in daylight, a summers day, quite clearly myself and a friend saw a spinning black disk very high up moving at incredible speed, it was reasonably large.
There are all these SETI like things going on, is there life out there, etc. I already know there is life out there and it visits earth, somehow. As simply as I know my address, or the sound a cat makes.
Yet what is really confounding me is my absolute inability to describe how I feel knowing that there are indeed 'people upstairs', so to speak.
Have you ever seen something that is not a part of this world? how do you feel about it, how has seeing it affected you? |

The first one was a moth. The second one was a frisbee. Case closed.
Seriously though, how can you know that aliens visit Earth if you've never seen one? If you've never seen one and have no evidence, then you merely believe aliens visit Earth, no matter how certain you feel about it. Those two things you saw will almost certainly turn out to be something completely mundane. |

welcome to earth, where what you know to be true is labeled as nuts, and what is ignorant is heraled as significant truths..
so.. two reactions exist to that.. either you.. pretend that you don't believe in such things when ppl ask, so that they won't look at you funny
or you push on and disregard their "good advice" and "concerned oppinions"
but yes.. let's take another example, let's say if you were to see a huge cigar shaped spacecraft with your dad when you were 13, seing it materialize, sit there for about 10-15 seconds all silent, and just vanishing into thin air, and then you told people about it and ppl said you were nuts and your dad would support you because he saw it too.. and then your dad died and you reached your 20's and then because people told you it "obviously wasn't true" so many times throughout your life and that your dad wasn't there to support and verify it no more, you just stopped talking about it and ended up beginning to question if it even happened or if it was just you being nuts.. cause.. people keep telling you that you are nuts for saying so.. and so many people can't be wrong.. right?
suffice to say you are far from the only one feeling like that.. there are many people who have had such experiences, millions.. and they take one of the approaches above.. deny it to themselves that it ever happened, know it and keep quiet about it, or pushes on through the ridicule.
seeing is believing.. never heard such nonsense in my life.. seeing isn't believing.. unless enough people see it, because if they don't then it don't matter one damn thing if you saw it or not.. cause the vast majority are so blind that they aren't gonna believe you anyways.. atleast in the past.. and you might just end up questioning your own mental health regardless of you knowing you saw what you saw, just because people told you it..
nah.. seeing is believing, knowing it to be true, and then trusting yourself above everybody else, when a stream of people start telling you you're off your rocker.. now that's closer.. |

One of 2 things has happened:
1) Aliens have not visited Earth.
2) Aliens have visited Earth, realized we are ridiculously primitive and decided not to establish contact.
Bottom line: Stop thinking about aliens. |

The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ...We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. ...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It has been suggested that War of the Worlds (H.G wells radio show) was a psychological warfare experiment. A variation has the Radio Project and the Rockefeller Foundation as conspirators.[4] In a theatrical trailer for his film F For Fake, Welles joked about such theories, jesting that the broadcast indeed "had secret sponsors". from wikipedia

Because I saw them. I'm not trying to convince anyone - no youtube links to conspiracy videos with me - what you think regards to the reality of what i saw is trivial, sorry.

Actually it occurs to me that visiting aliens might not actually be more advanced than us. They might have interstellar spaceships, but know ****-all about microbiology (see War Of The Worlds), computers (see Independence Day), nuclear fusion/fission, etc. In which case, they would be very interested in us. |

If you stopped to think and actually check what I have to say. I'm not saying things out right. Have patience mate and spend some time on what I link. Unless you have read about the subjects allready. I believe the subject of UFO's is interlinked to the subject I brought up. |

Create a phenomenom of Aliens and Ufo's - shade it in mysteries and ppl will spend their time investigating it (wasting their time). While other matters that actually are rather bad and affect all of us are beeing implemented across western world.
I'm not dissmissing ppl who chase ufos' but it could be that it's a one big diversion from the real things that are going on. (after all how could I say there are no UFO's or aliens- there very well could be) It is just that atm there are far more important things in this world ppl should spend their time investigating. |

I just read your other post.
I completely agree with people denying such events to be true until they see them with their own eyes. After all that is part of human nature. If someone told you Earth is about to be eaten by a giant space shark, you'd probably want solid proof of such claims. The same is true about the possibility of aliens, people want to see it with their own eyes before they believe anything. Unfortunately, humanity has yet to have evidence of aliens visiting Earth.
On the other side though, all these claims of alien sightings must have come from somewhere. The Roswell incident happened just 2 years after the detonation of the first atomic bombs, which to my knowledge produced much more light than a star, enough to raise a few eyebrows out there in the alien homeworld, so it makes sense they'd send someone to investigate.
What I'm trying to get to, is what does this really change? I mean, if all of humanity were to believe in the presence of aliens right now, what would really happen? Not much, I'd say. The ball is on their (the aliens) side, they either try to communicate with us or we all wait until humans develop technology to explore other solar systems and find them. So, in my opinion, debating over whether aliens exist or not seems a pointless waste of time at the moment, which is what motivated my first reply, that may have seemed as ignorant. |

What makes you think you know who/what was in control of these things?
It's alien to you because it's something you've not seen before, it doesn't necessarily mean they are from another planet; just outside you're sphere of knowledge.
Myself and a group of friends saw 2 dozen moving lights in the sky above us one night, all moving in different directions, and then they converged together and flew off. Weird, dunno what it was tbh.

While that is indeed possible, interstellar travel would require very advanced knowledge in a number of fields, which would open the way to 'lesser' technologies. Then again, they might have a completely backwards way of looking at things (or is it us with the backwards thinking?) and might be completely clueless about stuff such as generating electricity. |

tbh after watching that movie 'fire in the sky' as a kid it scared the crap out of me, especially seeing as it is supposedly based on a true story, kinda sucks that those aliens in it seemed more interested in cracking open our ribcages and pulling out spines out through our arses etc instead of, playing chess or talking about art or technology |

you should know that the guy who actually did the experiencing bit of that incident, says it happened quite differently.. it is grossly misrepresented in the movie, for the sake of the hollywood horror element. |
