That CCP guy on stage now said that minerals don't produce isk but wormholes do... What does he mean? there are no bounties in WH space, you effectively mine sleepers to sell the loot on the market. |

Anyone else getting a second or two feed pause every 20 seconds on the HD streams?
800Kbps, 1200 Kbps and 2000 Kbps streams all affected.
Free stream seems okay.
Orcon customer from New Zealand here - ISP plan is not of the throttling/data cap variety.
6 Mbps download speed tested OK.
Streamed all yesterday fine (Apart from the CCP side hiccups and reboot).
Have restarted modem, updated Windows and flash, restarted PC and disconnected all other network devices. Still no luck. |

Can we get a replay of the last 2.5 hours of yesterdays stream as dev's seem to have fallen asleep at the wheel and we lost the stream at the start of the alliance panel?

I really like the ticker at the bottom of the stream. I hope you guys develop the graphics even further for future broadcasts. Go all out and make it flashy like a real news network ^_^

Blue loot dropped by the sleepers is sold to NPC's, so it acts like a bounty, the difference is you have to take it to the NPC. |

CAn confirm free feed also has a slight hang every few minutes - but is watchable for the most part, will keep trying HD every so often. |

Ah okay so the the difference between blues and minerals is that one is sold to NPC's and the other is sold to the players. Thanks for clearing that up. |

Seriously guys i have been watching live EVE fanfest streams for 3 years and there is ALWAYS lack of microphones runners in audience.
Isn-¦t it time for CCP to hire 2-3 guys (volunteers?) to tackle this seemengly small problem for FanFest participants and huge problem for Stream viewers, since we can-¦t hear audience questions etc.
Also, good pilots of EVE, please donate on my account for salvation of minmmatar orphanage on Tash Murkon prime, who are in desperate need of baby food

Huge props to the guy who asked the question about disconnects.
Just last night actually i was floating in space thinking everything was ok until i tried to talk to someone and it started beeping at me every time i hit Enter key to send my message. Eve sometimes sits disconnected for many many minutes without informing you that you've been DC'd
This is a fairly serious thing when you're sitting there alone waiting for something to happen
Also, all the followup questions/suggestions about this same thing shows how big of an annoyance this is. This is one of those things that would be appreciated by everyone!

So what do you guys say about Dust 514 Battlefield Roles presentation. It-¦s probably best part of FanFest for me till now.
There was a lot of interesting informations about the game and have to say i am getting pretty enthusiactic about it, im specially satisfied with the way they integrated EVE world into ground battles and soldiers skill and classes seem to be very intriguing.

i have headphones in my ears and sound is full i still can hardly hear the stream
i had to put my sound balance all to the left
now i can hear better in BOTH left and right

Whatever encoder is being used for the pre-recorded videos is introducing a pretty massive amount of audio static into the feed.
Not just the bus ones either; the EvE TV logo clip was experiencing the same issue. |

EDIT - CCP dont push your employees to be on this eve tv too much. You can tell they are fine for the start but at times it seems they really dont want to be there. Give them a break, show us some other stuff.
EDIT 2 - Sorry for the double post, but yes the annoying static is back....... ONLY on prerecorded videos it seems.

Hi to all of Eve Fanfest watchers in HD.
I used IE x64 but it lagged every time the stream so I changed to Firefox and voli+á it works, only one thing bugs me: the montage sound is full of noise, but rest of the stream is perfect :)

Agreed no other mmo is worth playing after you're addicted to eve. Prolly why i get so worried at any mention of pvp nerfs =P
For my PvE fix I'm much happier playing singleplayer games like Baldurs gate (OMG BG REMAKE COMING!), fallout, etc, i dont bother with pve mmo's

this latest hour - the Dust Seed session - has been hanging every couple of minutes. It then picks up again - and then eventually skips a bit forward.
running the HD 2000kbit stream on a 120mbit line with nothing else running. Been running the feed both days. Only really been having trouble this evening with the pre-recorded sessions.
