How much would it cost to attack a 5 man industrial corp that has a large pos in high sec space?
The pos may be reasonably defended. It has to be destroyed. If they pull it down, a second contract will be offered to wardec them in a new corp, if they re-form.

Your information is insufficient to put a price tag on this. And to be honest it would probably cost you more then it is worth to have someone do it.

The POS has light defenses currently, but that may change. One-two pos gunners are expected to show up if it's to be defended. There will likely not be a significant defense force (<5 chars to show up). Although, it is a large POS.
Willing to pay, there's no profit sought per se, rather personal satisfaction. |

As Dek has said, the nmber of ships required to take down a large POS will be potentially a lot of ISK for you to payout.
Anyone with half a brain would drop on Hardeners, a plethora of Medium and Small batteries, a couple of warp disruptors and a couple of webbers. With the base hitpoints of a large pos PLUS the hardeners, you'll need a massive battleship force to get it into reinforced before the server reboots 
Then, you'll need to pay them to sit on the POS till it comes out of reinforced to prevent the owner from remote repping it back online, then you'll need the contractor to finish the job.
All in all, as Dek said, not really worth it. |

The problem isn't that.. the thing is... you have to make people want to work for you on top of isk....
Taking down POS is shit... it is not fun and even mercs don't really like it. The ammount of isk you will have to pay will far exceed the ammount of damage the loss of a pos does. And what makes you think they don't just put up another if they see you paying mercs for a pos takedown....
The best for you is to talk to merc corps (proper ones and please not exan, because i really don't feel like shooting pos at this point in my life) and get a price. It will be a lot since dreads might be involved (hard to tell if you can take this one with a bs fleet but i doubt it) wich also could mean that you are just baiting people to get some capital kills.
You are gonna be in for a funny ride trying to get that pos killed my someone.
Final advice: look through the merc thread and pick one of the bigger ones that actually have capital ships and get a price. (thats gonna be a couple of billions no doubt) |

As OP said, it's a high-sec POS, so no capital ships will be involved.
A sizeable fleet of BS will be able to do it, but it's gonna take time (and someone who's willing to do it). |

Last one I shot happened to be an MM alt corp pos and a 45man hired fleet showed up to rep it the day it came outta seige.

One time some idiot hired mercs on MY high sec pos, a second time some idiot hired mercs to take out several pos's belonging to the guy who founded and privately funded art of war with his kabillion isk fortune.
Need I say what happened to the mercenaries? |

I'd say posting here was a bad move. Now that they know you are after the POS, they are bound to either increase the defenses or take it down. If you talked to a merc corp in private, they could have decked them and then the target would have had no clue that the POS was the real target.
