1) Fit IC to Rorqual 2) Load fuel and Compression BPOs into Rorqual 3) Undock and activate IC 4) Wait for cool Transformator-look-a-like sequence to complete 5) Right-click your BPO and chose manufacture (iirc) select your own assembly lines etc 6) ... 7) Profit or die because you got attacked while sieged. |

well i have done all that but it does not let me pick a line as it shows that none are available, can someone tell me what options should be selected and if the ore/bpo needs to be in the hangar or cargo bay |

He has done all of that but it does not work. I mean, its a pretty simple problem with seemingly no answer to be found. He cannot select and assembly line, as none are shown to be available and if he tries just clicking next he is given the "Cannot proceed as no assembly line was selected" message.
Furthermore, he has filed a petition on this, asked for help repeatedly in the help channel (in-game), posted this thread, and both he and I have searched the web (mining guides and all) for hours trying to find an answer to this problem, but to no avail. No matter where you look, there does not seem to be a single person with an answer to this problem.
So how about next time you decide to offer your oh-so-unhelpful advice, you at least read what his problem is first, k? Oh and yeah, we REALLY don't have to be worried about it being attacked, so the flippant remarks aren't necessary either...

Well I haven't had any problems using my IC/Rorqual to compress. iirc I had to select "location" to "my ship" or something like that, but like I said never been a problem. Maybe it a recent bug then as it's been months since I used it last time.
And if so simply disregard my previous post will do.

Never used a Rorq, but there are other systems in the game where a similar sounding list is available and, sometimes, the objects don't show. In these cases, clicking one of the column head/sort tabs usually fixes it. No idea if this is such a list, but the description of the problem reminded me of it so I figured I'd throw it out there. --------------- Faction-Militia:Player-Alliance::Newbie-corp:Player-corp |

Hmmm, Chribba in the role of "unhelpful forum n00b". Not sure I've seen that one before. Tell you what, next time you and/or yours wants some help here in the forums, why don't you just forget about it. Chribba's "profit or die" comment did not warrant disrespect from you.

Are you sure you have the filters set correctly? I can't look ingame right now (at work), but the main one that has to be changed is the one where it is looking for the type of installation, i.e. public, corporation. You want that one to be personal I believe (something similar was said by chribba).
I've seen other people have this problem a couple times and this was their problem. -Xonox Pulsar Combat Supplies, Director of Production and POS |

Edited by: Luc Ferros on 21/08/2008 20:16:42 In there area with the selection of public/corporation and so forth, you have to scroll down to "My Ship" then it will work.
and you have to have the industrial core active while doing it. You will then see 4 lines pop up for manufacturing.

Edited by: Etho Demerzel on 21/08/2008 23:04:36 Your inability to find a solution comes from the fact you have a problem nobody else has. That may be because:
1) It is a very rare bug only you were unfortunate to find
2) You are doing somethign wrong
Your posture and the way you disregard the data given by people trying to help, calling then noobs even (including Chribba ) shows quite well your intelectual level. Given that, I am inclined to believe in the later over the former.
Anyway good luck on your search and I hope you can find your "expert" solution before 2010.

Two seperate people here...I am a friend of his and was getting kinda ****ed off how people weren't actually providing advice and telling him the same junk over and over again without helping him diagnose the problem. Hell, I even spent almost 2 hours of my own time trying to help him and I don't OWN or FLY a Rorqual... >.> ...As for the comment about a forum n00b, based on my experience I would say that Chribba did not fully read the first post (a breach of proper forum etiquette) - and as for my experience, I have over 10k posts on several different forums over the last 4 or so years...more if you count back further...Oh and the rest of your post after #2 really isn't needed...Thanks. Moving along - back to anyone wishing to provide Togae with help.

being a long time rorq pilot the advice chribba gave on the 2nd post is correct the same process i use.
i have been flying a rorq a long time allmost day 1 from when it was introduced and 1st built.
you deffo have to be sure on what filter you use to find the manu slots i some times forget and theink WTF.
well the advice given here is sound and can agree
also jfyi you dont have to wait for the transformation you can run the compressions as soson as the module is activated :P "Rather Death than Disgrace"

Have you checked the filters for standing, alliance, corp, etc? Untick them all, then tick each one until the lines show up. That's how I sorted out not being able to see factory lines at a POS assembly array.

Your freinds post was terrible and chribba answered as pretty much anyone would when the problem was not properly defined. Your post was far worse and you haven't done your freind any favours as people who might have helped are clearly not going to do so now. So really you should have read your freinds post before posting. Just because advice doesn't work doesn't mean it isn't advice.

Ok my buddy had same problem. Two solutions: 1) If no rigs - repack and assemble ship. 2) Report bug.
My buddy had to report bug, and GM's repacked ships and gave him new rigs. Also they said it was the first rorq with that problem.. no assembly lines anywhere to be found...

Awesome, I never thought I'd see a thread with someone calling Chribba a forum n00b. I lol'd.
Seriously though, its either a bug or you missed a step or filter. If its a bug repack/unpack (if no rigs) or petition.

I remember reading this problem a few months back. The problem then was to do with owning the Rorqual but not actually using it before the new expansion, then after the expansion, setting up the Rorqual showed up a bug that wouldnt give you any production line. The guy petitioned the GM and it was replaced with a "repaired" rorqual. A look through the forums from a few months back may throw some more info on it
