Edited by: Arkady Sadik on 28/08/2008 22:12:29 Actually. Could we just change the eve mail interface slightly?
Replace the "sender" list on the left with a "mailbox" list. Let us create mailboxes as we want (and have one default "inbox" and one default "outbox").
In the window on the right, add a column "sender" ("receiver" for the outbox). Add an item to the right-click menu on a mail, "move to mailbox" with a submenu to select which mailbox.
Usable mail tool done.
Edit 1: Alliance / corp mail working the same would allow stuff like a "standing orders" mailbox for the corp / alliance...
Edit 2: Speaking of alliance / corp mail: Could you please change the "reply" button for mails there to reply only to the sender? Or at least provide two buttons, "reply to sender" and "reply to corp" etc.?

nice ideas but I don't see how an outgoing and incoming would work for corp mail, would have to be a pretty simple interface as well concidering evemails are the main source of rookie help

Either you go the IMAP way and have corp/alliance/etc. mail as its own folder that you can't delete mails in (unless you have permissions), or you give corp and alliance their own inbox and other folders, just no "outbox."

The interface I proposed above is rather simple to use, or am I missing something?
