I see two of my research agents are now showing this in their info, on the research fields I have them working on. Does this mean the BP pool has run dry? I've been running research since Castor was released, and have yet to see a tech II BP. Am I REALLY screwed now?

I'd guess that they'll be some new bp put in the system after next weeks patch (maybe special ops frigates).

It means the bp has dried out yes, for my agent it was about 2 weaks time before he did get some new once in.
I think I was screwed the first day I did start with R&D

Look a little closer at the info folks...
Where, for example, it used to read "Small xxx Smurgleblaster" it now reads "Medium xxx Smurgleblaster" and so on.
Where the starship research reads "nothing easily predictable", you must know that yes, all the original BP for Interceptors are gone; however read the patch notes and Shiva notes, and know that there are Other Tech2 ships needing an outlet... but they don't seem to have named them yet.
