Ardishapur News Service. Aderista Seville, reporting
The infamous terrorist, known pirate and insurgent Ava Starfire was taken into custody yesterday by MIO agents on Joppaya II. She is being charged with a slew of crimes, including being a member of the GÇ£Secret Stairway,GÇ¥ a group that kidnaps loyal Matari slaves and takes them to the Republic to be brainwashed and the press-ganged into the Republic Navy. In addition to that, Ms. Starfire has been attacking Imperial Navy transport ships, loaded with food and medicine bound for low security worlds and areas in the Mandate still reeling from the Elder attack, allegedly.
Starfire was detained at the estates of Lady Devaara. The official reason for this visit was a capsuleer related and normally would have gone without incident, however, the MIO received word that the terrorist had covertly inserted Valklears, a Minmatar Military sponsored terrorist organization that draws itGÇÖs ranks from the most violent of Minmatar criminals: rapists, murders, arsonists. These Valklears are even more savage and brutal then GÇ£normalGÇ¥ Minmatars. They were able to murder three people before House Ardishapur Marines, bolstered by Kameiras were able to eradicate them.

This is complete rubbish. Avlynka willingly went into custody of the MIO, without violent action. And yet the Amarr media asserts that she's a terrorist?!

Huh. I honestly expected better of Amarrian media, honesty is usually a quality you can count on in the Empire, no matter repulsive the subject of that honesty may be.

I'm not surprised that this is coming out of the Ardishapur news service. They just send to press whatever story will make them look good in the eyes of their Empress. I'm honestly surprised that they didn't just kill her and say she tried to incite violence. None of the Ardishapur know what honesty is anyways so it's all a moot point.

This news report is lacking at best. They completely left out the part where the MIO arrived during dessert. Who does that? They could have at least waited until we got to the after dinner coffee before they tried to arrest her. It was good cake too.
As for the rest of the story:

If the OP's statements are correct, then agents of the MIO are in breach of CONCORD law. At the dawn of the capsuleer age, an agreement was made between the four major empires, that agreement, in essence was this: 'Capsuleers fall under the Jurisdiction of CONCORD.' the MIO does not have the right to detain a capsuleer on such charges. We hope that this situation is rectified quickly.

Capsuleers fall under the jurisdiction of CONCORD in space. All the rest is quite vague and probably subject of conflict.
President Jacus Roden, for example, is bound by the local laws either as he assumes rights and powers outside of the CONCORD law sphere. Basically, everyone being in foreign territory is bound by its local laws, capsuleers included. |

I think the issue is this "war" thing that is happening. Ava is a good fighter for the Republic, so of course it is unfortunate for the Amarr that she is safe and sound. It's basically praise. I doubt it has anything to do with personal affection. |

Define "honorably."
Looking at your combat record, one would think that you enter combat with the express purpose of losing the engagement. Having lost several expensive ships to entirely inferior ones repeatedly to the same pilot in the same area, then moving to another area and repeating the process but to various other pilots, including several carriers that were not even fit, at least one of these losses was to a "Minmatar Rebel" and all of them were to only one pilot.
So you've lost several solo engagements. Clarify the circumstances of these engagements and the reason you've lost so much to a single pilot and maybe your retort will have some value. ~Captain Malcolm Khross, Dyishi Aunni of the Wirykomi Honor Guard Eskeitanen Wiyrkomi Kaashivon

You will note, or at least I hope you would note, that I asked for clarification regarding his combat record by indicating what one could possibly surmise about it and further asking what his perception of "honorably" was.
You will also note, I hope, that honor involves acting with integrity, honesty and conviction. All I have done is challenged him to take account for his words, there is no dishonor in that. ~Captain Malcolm Khross, Dyishi Aunni of the Wirykomi Honor Guard Eskeitanen Wiyrkomi Kaashivon
