I'm moving tomorrow, and hopefully everything goes well getting new ISP hooked up and so on. But in case there's delays or trouble... is it possible to put EVE on a flash drive so I can run it somewhere else easily for skill changing?
How much space would the classic client need if it's possible.

How about in general you just stfu? And leave the posting to people that have something to ADD?
OP: I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work, but just try it...

Thats Rubbish. You sound like someone who has missed some training time due to real life and now your all upset about it.

A working EVE folder directly copied onto USB drive will run from the drive quite happily on another computer as long as there are no unforeseen complications like a modified .ini for some ridiculous resolution. 'course, it'll run slower too.

Now that I think of it I seem to remember something about some files needing to be deleted for it to work properly. Just don't remember which.

My real life is doing well, but thank you for your consideration. I am, however, paying for this game and if I at least can get online once a week to set set a new skill if I can't play it won't feel completely wasted.

I have done this succesfully, but it is only a temp option as it is slow and the constant rewrite to the jump drive will eventually wreck your jd.
You would need a 2GB jump drive for the classic client, and you can run it on another windows xp computer via the jump drive.
Just download the client on a normal computer, install it to the jump drive location. When you plug it in to another computer and launch the exe, Eve will take a few seconds to create the settings file on the host computer at the C:\Documents and Settings\(name)\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\Eve. Also the My Documents\Eve file will be created. I am not sure if these can be changed but you can easily delete them later. These are the only files that get created on the host computer and Eve will esentially run off the jd. You need install privleges on the host computer.
