I think one of the best DS9 episodes was when the Frengi had to rescue their mother, quite funny. -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:

I don't remember the name but it's the one where a small group of federation soldiers along with a few main characters have to hold a small outpost against a giant onslaught of jem'hadar or whatever they're called.
Was a really amazing episode with everyone getting shot in the face all over the place. Very dark for ST actually.
Edit: Found it. Episode is called "The Siege of AR-558"
i konw, i loved that episode
i think my favorite episode though is the one near the end, that HUGE ass fleet battle, that was awesome, then the romulans(?) whoever was being occupied by the shape shifter guys turned on them at the end
then they killed off 800million of the planets population for betraying them

I watch comedy for fun, sci-fi for inspiration, funny sci-fi typically is lame as all hell.

That ep won awards, Very good and very dark for star trek in general, I do like the way they turned the subspace mines back on the 'Adar and how they justified it.

TNG has perhaps some of the best storylines in sci fi, if you read the episodes across all 7 series, and ds9 isn't afraid of having fun. I lack the age to have watched TOS in the context of its time, but it's still quite entertaining and packed with babes :P

he did a better job as Michael on SGA
my buddy was hard core into enterprise and tried to get me to watch. it just didn't stick. too corny
loved STTNG when i was a kid. watching them nowadays... well lets just say i wont watch it anymore and let the memories stay good ones.
i can still get down to some original star trek. but i need beer and its the kinda thing where you take it as it is and probably more entertainment comes from the nostalgia than from good acting/plots
rip that boss of yours up one side and down the other. his favorite show sucks ------------------------------ "whining and crying for nerfs and boosts aint' no way to go through life son!" |
