The patches are constantly delayed and usually deliver issues which need follow up fixes. In the five years playing the server performance has declined in proportion to the volume of players playing - as expected. However while the content of the game improves the work and actual noticeable work on the server never seems to happen. People post every day talking of 20min module lag when fleet fighting. CCP take the cash from the playerbase, when are we going to hear when our money is going to deliver the server and performance this game demands. I wish one day CCP would just state we wont deliver content for 1 year, instead we will deliver the game in a playable format which we have been tweaking for 5 years. Please CCP deliver the server and not the textures!

CCP Navigator C C P	Posted - 2008.09.02 20:33:00 - [102] Quick update. Tranquility has gone down to allow for a hotfix to be deployed. It is estimated that once the server comes back up, in test mode, that 20-30 minutes of testing will be required to verify the hotfix is doing its job. Apologies again for the delay and we hope to have you playing asap.

As my experience shows of several other games, customer satisfaction is depending on being told the truth to plan a day accordingly very tightly. Its always like this because the player base have come to accept it, but it doesnt mean we dont have a right to complain about it. Even so I am sure they are doing their best ....

I think the CCP team is doing a great job.... some times things go wrong that no one can help but at least they are keaping you informed.

If i did this to my working clients in my business i would lose a hell of a lot of business, and if it did occur i would damn ensure i apologised and documented what as a service provider i was going to do next time.
