Can someone help me?
I am currently trying to do level 3 missions in gallente space, so serpentis mostly.
I am having problems with incoming dps. The dps i am doing seems to be fine and i am able to kill those battlecruiser rats quite quickly. But in some missions when you warp right into blob the rats butcher my armor in no time.
I have cap skills 5/5 and good cap implants
and amarr bs 5
I am using abaddon with following setup:
8x250mm rails
3x cap recharger 2
2x lar2,
5x rat specific hardener,
1x dcu2
1x armor repair amount rig
2x cc rig

If that fitting is correct, you should have no problems with lvl 3 missions at all. Are you running out of cap to tank?

Check that you have the correct hardeners for the mission you are running. It makes a massive difference. Don't omni tank-go for pairs of matched resists. It is rare that a mission gives all types of damage mostly comes in pairs.
If you get warped into a blob immediately align to a gate & move away attacking all the hostiles as you move.
Deploy drones as soon as you have full agro if available as these will kill the small frigates & ECM boats.
If my Domi can tank 15 battleships & cruisers in a level 4 you are doing something wrong & I use the same tactics as I'm suggesting to you.

serpentis: use 2x kin 2x thermal easily tanks lv4 especially with 2x large reps.

see what you're doing wrong is using rails on the geddon that's a VERY bad thing drop the rails for pulse lasers drop 1 rep and 2 hardeners for 3 heat sinks use 5 med drones and 5 light drones drop the rep ammount rig for another ccc and then do it again.
alternativly get a myrmadon (however it's spelt)
drone stuff in the high slots and a couple of guns to pull agro
cap stuff in the mid slots
2 reps and active hardeners in the low slots
rep ammount and rep time rigs in the rig slots
point and laugh as you're drones kill everything in sight and your armor never goes past 95%.

Your set up is almost correct. Not perfect though, it is the little things that differs people like you and perfect people.
Use Autocannons no cap usage, 150mm or 125mm ones, Autocannons are about to get nerfed, so enjoy them as much as possible now.
And why you having cap rechargers at medium slots? Shield tank!!! Shield tank is the most imbalanced tank in game - which of course is getting nerfed soon. 1 small shield booster, 3 micro shield extenders.
Low slot, you know why they are called "low" slot?! they are for low people, they are for griefers and scammers, seeing you are a good honest guy, i don't think you want to be either one, so don't fit anything on it.
CCP is going to ban my account for givng out such imformation to general public, benefiting everyone is my goal so f*ck them, ban me anyway!
P.S. Polycarbon rigs you fool, they are about to get nerfed don't you know? even they suck as they are too expensive, they are a must have for those of 1337 players, they (polycargon) are a sign of both skill and willpower, Use tech 2 for even more 1337n3ss.
