Thinking of doing some sort of event thats gonna be kinda like a treasure hunt 
Rules:
You can sign up in team or as a solo player.
1) All start.
You get some sort of info/puzzle.
You will be given a new lead or hint after you solve puzzles.
Ex. "The next hint is in sunny rens."
(could put the hint on a can @ the rens sun or create a char/corp with that name and put the hint in that bio/description)
Finaly it should lead the players to where the "treasure" is. I'm thinking a container with a password where you get a puzzle that when solved is the passy. Then you use the password to open the can and grab the shiny prize inside.
What do you think ?
Edit: I'm thinking no entry as the starting info could easily be sent to other people.

I hate to be the doom bringer but you might have a hard time getting people to take you up on this. I tried running a treasure hunt with a prize of a navy apoc and a navy armour repper but didn't get a single entry. The first treasure hunt I ran was successful but only because it was a free to enter event
I wish you luck but advise you to start small so you don't have a huge prize standing doing nothing if it goes **** up.

Treasure Hunts can work .. I did one within the first 6 months of Eve (2003) for 50mil ... I had alot of entrants.
Thing is, i've been thinking of doing the same again.
My Old Treasure Hunt <-- thread about the Hunt from 5 years ago.
I have some ideas about how to avoid ganking, lag issues (last time we virtually closed Amarr through the amount of people in the system) and prizes. The clues wont be too hard but a good knowledge of English will be necessary plus the ability to work out some cryptic clues.
Think it will work?
