RESIGN. NOW.
Being drunk is not an excuse for your actions, you silly.

CCP this is unacceptable, it has gone too far, its also your fault people can DRINK during a public event that is also broadcasted and you had no moderator to oversee the discussions?
Someone at CCP must be held accountable too. As for The Mittani he is long over due for a ban. If he will keep the CSM position that is illegitimate, un-representative of the community. CCP better step up to the plate and clean this mess, that includes THE MITTANI. |

The man was hammered. He has apologised profusely. Real arrogance would have been not to do so. Quite a few of you here are are doing exactly what you accuse The Mittens of doing, right here in these forums, in your own way. The Judge, Jury and Executioner.
What The Mittens said was a terrible thing. He admits that, he apologises and there's more that has happened in the background to remedy the situation between him and the victim than you will ever see in these forums.
But he cannot really apologise, can he ? If he does, he's just covering his backside. If he does, he's just trying to save his Chairmanship. There's nothing he can do or say in these forums that will please those of you seeking blood, is there ? Oh wait, you want him to resign, or to be banned. Yeah, let's destroy another life whilst the opportunity exists. Afterall, it's his own fault is it not ?
Shame on you. Those of you with those thoughts are sober, well, most of you are. The Mittens was not, that was blatantly evident. That's not an excuse, it's part of the situation leading-up to this incident.
Here you are though, beying for blood, for "justice". Shame on you. I'm sober, sound of mind and lived long enough during hard times to say this to you who are crying from the rafters :-
Judge not lest ye be Judged.
God loves you all.
Any action has a consequence. At this rate The MIttani will have many problems in life. His apology is a good step forward for him to avoid that, but I suspect that will not change his behaviour. The actions of the past still have to catch up with him, so he will get more of this.
IMO his position as CSM chair is unacceptable after this event, banning him from EVE would be too much also.
He has to become responsible, accept his mistake, resign and play like a good puppy for a while. He will rise again if he is smart enough, second time, maybe even better than now, in a good way. lol |
