From the Patch Notes:
Quote: Missiles now have an arming delay after launch. When the delay timer has expired, missiles will damage on collision.
I thought this feature was discontinued?
I distinctly remember TomB stating this was removed.
Also:
Quote: You cannot launch Defender or FoF missiles while your ships targeting systems are blocked.
I am assuming by "target systems blocked" you mean while cloaked and NOT while target-jammed?

it says "You cannot launch Defender or FoF missiles while your ships targeting systems are blocked.(Such as when coming out of cloak. This does not refer to being target jammed)"
so yes it does'nt refer to being target jammed, they probably changed it after reading your post.

first point.. im assuming the arming delay is to stop the killing of your ship by concord if it hits some1 close? the arming delay has to be less than like 2 seconds, cus missiles will fly 3km a sec giving the minimum range of 6km, which still sucks.
the second... i SERIOSULY HOPE it means while cloaked. if not, then there is very little point them being in the game, since you can only fire them when you can lock people, so you might aswell fire normal missiles (that do A LOT more damage) :/ same goes for defenders.. a lockeed down ship will have even less of a chance than they do atm without proper countermeasures.
please comment on this Devs.

I don't see anything about missile arming distance, did they remove it?
What does this mean though?
"The inertial phase of missile flight has been reduced. "

Yes they always seem to do that with every patchnotes, just remove things from it without telling us

Lol looks like they remove arming time, its the only weakness the raven had,and now there gonna let it run how it is on chaos?
Be prepared to see lots of Ravens in the near future as at the mo they are stupidly overpowered.
Tomb please stick to your guns on missile arming as its the only thing that stops them from being a unbalenced monster of a ship.

Agreed that the Raven is a bit strong on Chaos, but arming time is NOT the solution, it's a big fat load of hairy *******s. To put it kindly.
What we NEED is actual missile AGILITY, ie, cruises having to get up to speed before they become maneuverable, having them actually HIT things on the first pass, and then once that's done, having them unable to turn around. That way, fast moving targets will stand a chance of getting out of the way.
As it stands now, a cruise means near certain death for the victim - it'll home in on him like AMEX chasing down a debtor.

guess this has been up b4 but..
yea, if they are gonna do enything to the cruise missiles, they could do as they had planned..
Cruise launche: First 5 sec's slow as it used 2 be.. good agility.. homes in on the target.. next few secs maby from the 6th - 8th sec startes accelseration = agility lowerd as speed picks up.. 9th till end of flight time max speed with low agility.. trajectory adjustment maby 500m up to 1K. 1K may be a bit high.
this would make the missiles do the following in combat..
the missile would speed away from the launching ship and align itself onto the target.. so if its a stationary ship it would hit it ayways.. but if its a fast moving bship cruiser/frigate.. it would have a hard time hitting it a long range..
may be a bit stupid but if a nerf is what u want, this would be a nasy one.. hehe
Torps: Medium then Low agility all the way..
