If you are a writer/blogger and you think that you have a good sense of what people want to read and can write on topical subjects, then we are looking for you (and we're happy that you are reading this!).
We are looking for writers that can blend nicely into the feel of our e-zine.
We offer writers a platfrom to showcase their work to an audience of over 9,000 visitors a month, and growing! Basically what EVE-Mag.com allows you to do is leverage the following things to give you the best possible writing platform that you can find in New Eden:
People like us! ------------------- Our traffic of 300+ readers per day practically ensures that your content gets noticed. EVE-Mag.com was launched a little more than 2 months ago and the traffic has steadily grown since then.
Articles from our EVE-Mag.com authors have been featured on community sites like Crazykinux.com and Massively.com. You'll get the kudos you deserve!!
We pride ourselves on trying to publish compelling EVE-related content!
Work at your own pace! -------------------------- As an EVE-Mag.com writer you can work at your own pace and there is surely never a shortage of topics to write about. Just review our site to get an idea of what kind of articles we publish. We are also up for suggestions for other articles that would fit into our concept.
You get paid! ----------------- Yep, it's true, once you start writing you'll notice that you're actually making some ISK! The cool thing is that you will make a minimum of 20 Mill per article (500 to 1,000 words) upon publishment. Payment is a flat fee per article and can vary by topic and word count.
We have authors easily making 200+ Mill ISK each month with doing what they really love to do: writing great stuff for the EVE community! So it's definitely possible to make yourself some ISK. Now, we are not promising you billions or even millions of ISK, but if you write great topical content that people are out there looking for, you will definitely start making some cash and make a name for yourself in the community!
How to apply: Simply send an E-Mail to [email protected] or contact 'Smakalicious' ingame for a chat!
Thank you for your time reading this!
All the best, Smak

Are you seeking a creative outlet to express a work of fiction related to Eve? Was there some spectacular incident within the game that you wish to relate in your own words? Or do you have a rant about the latest CCP nerf? Then please consider writing for Eve-Mag and getting a "small" token of appreciation. As a small, independent site, your words will reach a growing fan base that in turn, might recognize you out there in space...
...or have reason to blast you from it!
Even if you do not wish to partake in writing, at least come and visit the site. Something should catch your eye to allow further reading.
Thanks in advance.

yeah awesome. Don't forget you'll be competing with EON and those other guys.
But this is a great chance for players not working for them to do our own indie mag, I for one will help you guys out, I fully support this project.
and you guys should so join up and help write articles too, even if just for one time, you never know you might enjoy it :)

Eve-Mag has some great content, but I would STRONGLY encourage you to have a copy-editor / proof-reader. I have found some articles painful to read through, because of the way they're written. Most especially difficult because of the way punctuation is abused. At the top of the list, I'd suggest that all contributors read up on how to properly use a comma and perhaps also the semi-colon.
Writing should possess a certain pleasant and readable flow. You don't want the reader to find themselves re-reading sentences two or three times, because they are forced to parse the language and meaning of it.
Other than that, the actual content is already quite decent and I'm looking forward to what is coming down the pipe line.

I can speak from my own experience to say that working for Eve-mag.com is well worthwhile.
Not only can you write articles on pretty much any subject you enjoy but you become part of the Eve-mag.com community and get paid.
If you fancy yourself as a budding journalist or writer, or even an editor, have a word with Smak, you won't regret it.

This.
Makes me proud to see, that the great works of the many fine authors here at EVE-Mag.com seem to get witnessed by the community. The feedback has been awesome!
True, we are still at the beginning, but it's great to see how this little project has evolved so far. Keep it up, guys!!

I've only written one piece for EVE-Mag.com so far, and the experience has been great. The other authors I've spoken to are good folks, and Smak has been top-notch to work with!

EVE-Mag.com to be featured in Flyreckless!
Podcasts are an effective way to reach and engage niche audiences, thereÆs no doubt about it, and the recent movement in the EVE podcast world corroborates this.
EVE-Mag.com, as a thriving publishing platform, will use podcasting in the future for distributing its compelling content and to build a larger community of readers. In the face of podcastingÆs rapid adoption among the inhabitants of New Eden, this is the next logical stem in pushing forward this independent EVE publication.
We are happy to announce, that we have found such a collaboration with Silicon Buddha of Flyreckless, who will be featuring articles from EVE-Mag.com in his Flyreckless Podcast.

Quite well, indeed. We're even courting several interesting figures of the EVE-O community for possible interviews to coincide with a number of different projects that each author is working on.
