So we were on a roaming gang camping some gates and this kestrel came through the gate, the tacklers went after him and they killed him before the rest could join in. This was a 10 day old char. In his kessie for starters he had dread guristas officer mods for afters he had kalkas 425mm modified railgun. can you feel the tears. We estimate he had at least 1.5 bil in stuff on that thing.

Firstly, why would you want to make people quit EVE?
Secondly, you clearly haven't been around long enough, if you think that a 1.5bil hauler kill is a lot of isk.
Next time post something truly impressive.

ooo-k.... I got flamed.... that hurt... anyway I for one think 1.5 bil is a lot... so I think it is worth it however if you want to give me 1.5 bil because it is a small amount I would be fine with that. Also proof got removed (woops no kb links I guess) check griefwatch YTMND kb and look for a recent kestrel kill.

Ok, don't get me wrong now because the fellow hauling that much loot in a kessie was an idiot, pure and simple. It seemed appropriate that he got a lesson from the school of hard knocks, that isn't the issue.
BUT
The one thing I do have a problem with is that you're looking for ways to make people quit Eve. Just let me put things in perspective here (CCP take note):
- You want to make people quit Eve Online
- Thus the Eve Online player base becomes smaller
- The smaller the player base means fewer people are paying for a membership
- If fewer people are paying for a membership this means CCP has less income
- If CCP has less income it goes without saying that they make less profit
So if I'm reading things right you're saying that you want to cause CCP to lose money, is that correct?

To the OP:
If he was a 10 day kestrel pilot with as you estimated 1.5 bil worth of stuff, he obviously wasn't a noob and it was an alt of a long time player. If he is moving that kind of stuff, he probably has more isk than 1.5 bil isk and it wouldn't make them leave the game.
It would suck and make him curse in the rl, but that's about it.
gj on the kill, but not worth a forum post at all.

1. Invite them to your alliance
2. Invite them to a fleet
3. Make them sit at a safe-spot for two hours until you have assembled the perfect fleet.
4. Jump your perfect fleet into another perfect fleet so that their screen locks completely up, and they the standard powerpoint presentation of how PvP works in Eve:
Here in slide one, we see your uber-blob engaging the other side's uber blob. Notice all the pretty red and blue squares on the screen. Many red and blue squares is what makes Eve fleet battles so fun.
Here in slide two, you see both more red and blue squares, and some yellow and white triangles. When you see yellow and white triangles, that means massive carnage is occuring. You may actually be one of the yellow triangles at this point, but there is no way to tell. Isn't the suspense fantastic?
Here in slide three, we see fewer red and blue boxes, and more triangles. You can tell if you are winning or losing by counting the boxes. If there are more blue than red, you're winning!
And here in slide four we see the familliar station interior. This of course means that your blue square turned into a yellow triangle while slide 4 was loadiing.
Thank you for your attention. That concludes our presentation on massive amazing fleet battles in Eve.

If u had killed it with 1 friend with you thats 750mil each but how many were in your blob 5, 10, 15, 20 ? when you split it that way it becomes less than the price of your ship so not so much now.
But good job you proberly gave a carebear stingy tears which taste sooo sweet.

Hmm... I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but as I understand it, if your aim is specifically to make someone quit Eve, that is the kind of greifing that CCP don't like.
On a more important note, why would you want the idiots to quit Eve? Idiots are hilarious. If anything, surely we want more 10 day old idiots with faction fitted kestrals? I know I would. ---- Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*coughcough*aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrr!! |

Actually I'm going to quote and say thanks for the clarification :) and I happen to agree with what you said about the idiots quitting Eve. There's a vast difference between being inexperienced and being a jelly-brain, mainly that inexperience is resolved over time.
