Probably, mostly suicide. Though it might be possible to speed tank one.
Queue an EFT warrior please :D

I believe the Enyo can do a few of them, though it does of course take time. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

Ishkur can do most, bar the few with pockets of sentry and missile batteries. althou with max skill probably could do those as well. And yes, sort of slow. _______________________________________________________________________________________________

my retribution is a solid lvl3 runner, need to be wary of webs but if your moving at full speed the tanking is easy. but then i have an old character so it might be different if your skills are still maturing.
i can drop a fit in tonight when i get home Because sometimes you just have to go back to your roots: [2005.02.20 01:08:03] (combat) Your Civilian Light Electron Blaster perfectly strikes Serpentis Smuggler, wrecking for 20.3 damage |

Do it now and again for the luls, its not too hard if you are careful with webs etc, but it takes a long time in comparrison to using say a bc.

Done some Level 3s in Jaguar, shield tanks almost everything but it is even sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooower than a Wolf I guess (because of its lower dps).

yeah i used jag as well, tanks like a dream but dps ftl. One thing to remember is that AS have racial resist bonuses. Using them against their racial enemys or their associated rats makes life alot easier. An armour tanking wolf vs sanshas for example.

Can confirm that Hawks and Harpies work fine for l3's, can be a bit slow on some. There are a couple that will be a struggle to kill some of the t2 resistance npcs. but other than that, they are fine. There are a couple of frig/small drone heavy ones that i think go a bit faster.
I do it more for fun, than as a money maker.
hawk: t2 small missile launchers
Sm sheild booster Shield boost amp shield Res amp. (what ever fits)
BCU what ever you have enough cpu/grid for.
rigs as needed. hawk can be a really tight fit, but you can get a wicked tank on it. Harpy: 4 150mm rails *note this may cause endless debate about 125mm vs. 150mm rails *me i like the range and dmg mod rather than the tracking but i *also tend to swap ammo alot. 1 rocket launcher (optional)
1 res amp. 1 sm shield booster 1 ab 1 CR t2
2 Mag stabs,
rigs as needed.

A question that is closely related is, can a lvl 3 mission be done with a faction (Caldari navy) cruiser, such as the Navy Caracal?

I used to run level 3s in a Retribution for laughs. Obviously it's not as quick as a BC but MUCH more fun!
As long as you don't get webbed, the Retri will manage all of them without too much trouble.
It also helps that you never run out of ammo...

Most of them can actually be done in a standard Caracal if you've got decent to high skills. As with an AF it'll not be easy or without risk (if you call loosing a T1 cruiser 'risk'), but it can be done.

Easily doable, but slow. The frigs instapop and not a single ship is a "problem". Those towers are annoying though unless you have enough speed (not fun getting caught in a web and then the missiles catch you...).

I've done them in an omni tanked Vexor with all T1 fittings and drones and crap skills. Took a long time, I had to warp out of most missions at least once and I spent a lot of time doing hull reps, but it worked.

did quite a lot of lvl3 missions in Retribution for fun. it worked really well with big targets, but then I was swarmed by ton of frigs in some mission that I don't remember (was a long time ago) can't remember fit either but it should be easy- slap on weapons, AF, repper and resistances and you're off
