Is it just me or does anyone have problems with eve-onlineÆs support? For example if you submit a petition in any other category other than Stuck you have to wait 12Hours to 4 days for an answer from a GM? Anyone else had this problem? IÆve noticed this for a long time Seeing if anyone else has the same problem as me.

The only support responses I ever recieve any action on are 'stuck' petitions. Anything else is ignored for weeks or months and then replied with a 'nothing wrong on our end' fail message and immediately closed before any response can be given.
I currently have lost a T2 BPO in a research slot and my entire corp is completely shut down waiting to have it retrieved... we dare not continue using our labs lest the 'stuck' BPO get deleted/lost/eaten. The slow to nonexistant response time has completely crippled the corp.

Yeah, their response time hasn't ever really been record breaking. I've gone like a full month before they answered one of my petitions in the past. Not much we can do about it though

Hmm. Oh well. All I can say is that the support I've received from GM's is nearly always very good and very timely.
And no, not all of mine were in the stuck category. Peoples mileage varies obviously.

Hello, thanks for your replies.
I find it quite disappointing Amazing game But the support lacks like no other. IÆve been waiting on a reply for almost 3 weeks now And not even one person has answered it i find it quite sad that they donÆt even reply to say that they are busy, or something, maybe they donÆt have enough staff to actually handle all of the of the users who petition stuff? Cannot really tell ItÆs disappointing.

I understand, they have a huge player base, and all But the most important things when running a service is Keep the service up Keep customers happy (Customer Services --> Support) They keep the service up but fail drastically on the whole customer services / support part of the ôserviceö that they are offering To keep a good, happy player base, you have to fix player needs, and it seems they donÆt like doing that at all.

Hey Guys,
I have to also say, IÆm not mad, just not impressed with the service that I receive from support because, 99% of all my petitions close out on their own due to the fact that the GMÆs donÆt answer, or even respond to the ones that I do put it, but I would like to know official word from one of the GMÆs or DEVÆs to know what the problem is indeed. I thought this issue, had to be brought up

I had one problem that took over a month to resolve. The ultimate reason for the problem taking so long to fix was an error in documentation made by a Dev after changing part of the game. The reason for the delay was my persistance in asserting what I knew to be the "correct" fix to my problem.
However, that issue was rare and somewhat obscure.
Most of the times my petitions have been correctly resolved within a few hours. But those petitions generally consist of getting removed from Jita or having an defective mission reset. Originally by: Sasuke Neo

I am guessing that he is suggesting that perhaps the petitions that you are having problems with, are more a matter of incorrect expectations that you have set for yourself, instead of an actual defect in the game or CCP's customer service.
What sort of petitions are you having problems getting resolved in a timely manner?

The ones are... Hacked accounts and Bans. Reason for both was due to the fact that I reported that someone has gained access to my account and removed quite a few assets. (Not cheap assets either) So I reported it, now the account has a term ban until they supposedly ôinvestigateö even though, theyÆve been doing so for almost 3 weeks. So i am indeed of their assistance Thanks.,

It is not overly suprising for that kind of investigation to take several weeks, as it is unlikely to be limited to just your accounts.

If people wouldnt file so many pointless petitions, probably mainly for reimbursements but also other categories, they wouldnt be so busy handling pointless petitions.
And they could be doing something usefull on their sunday afternoon instead of moving all the idiots who get stuck in jita.

People are creating the most ridiculous petitions sometimes so they get swamped with stupid questions. Because of that all other serious petitions get quite a delay as well. Don't blame CCP for that, thank your fellow customers for it.
You don't have to petition that the market in Jita is screwed up. They know that already, heck, Jita in a whole is screwed up, why are you even going there?
If you post a legit petition, give enough and detailed information on what the problem is, you'll get a timely response. That has always been my experience.

And I understand things take time but thereÆs time and time
I cannot give them any more information, all the information I can give them I already did give them and IÆm always polite when talking to anyone

Petition response probably also depends on how it is written. They probably tend to skip cryptic blocks of letters for later and do short and accurately worded ones sooner.
Ranting and raving probably gets put on hold for the next shift.

i've got an on-going technical petition that has been open for about a month, ccp have been very thorough in their investigations, even if a solid reason for the fault has yet to be reached.
other stuck petitions get dealt with fairly fast, and previously petitions to get copied bps out of alliance labs were dealt with quite quickly too.
it probably helps if you don't act like a fscking tard in your petition text to them and treat them as normal (if slightly techie) people.
