I'm rather new to EVE and don't know much about ipo/bonds/shares etc. I have my own corporation I just started but I'm still learning about it.
The question I have is where can I invest isk to generate passive income? Not trading that requires me to monitor the markets all day or other active endeavors - something that will just give me isk back no matter if I'm playing EVE or not that day?
Looking for safe investments. Any help appreciated.

In EVE we tend to live under the philosophy that one should help themselves, not expect others to give away valuable information freely.
Why don't you read this forum a bit, I bet you will find several places to invest ISK if you do a little work yourself instead of expecting others to spoon feed you ideas. I wouldn't trust what anyone on here tells you to do. Posts like yours will get you more scammer attention than legit attention.

EBank or Dynasty Bank. EBank is probably extremely safe, but pay only a paltry 1.5% per month.
Dynasty Bank is much newer and much smaller than EBank, so they might crack or turn out to be a long-term scam. They do pay up to 10% per month on Certificates of Deposit, however, and I'm greedy, so I'm trusting them with my ISK; shifting the dough over to them as fast as they'll let me (they have a maximum deposit limit of 500 million ISK per month). They have 1.6G of my ISK now (plus some interests), and I'll expect to throw most of the remainder of my ISK (2.5G) at them in the following months.
Since this is only a game, you might feel like taking the risk along with me. Also, if you're new, you probably don't have hundreds of millions (unless you've sold time codes[1], which by the way is legal), EBank's 1.5% montly interest won't amount to nothing at all.
With Dynasty Bank, if you throw 5M ISK at them, then you can take back over 10M ISK 8 months later.
[1] I sold 3 time codes last year and IIRC 7 more early this year, and sine then I've done a little trading and hauling to make those ISK breed, but I've also spent a bunch of ISK on buying neat stuff (skillz, expensive ships, modules and rigs), and I don't actually enjoy trading (because I'm not very good at it), which is why I'm turning to Dynasty Bank, so that they can give me the passive income I want, while I spend my time doing fun stuff (basically trying out all kinds of PVE).

Why don't you invest in yourself [AMERY]
Current Criteria: For a limited time anyone who makes a single bet of greater than 100,000,000 isk in a game wins a share (limit 1 share per game). Only 80 shares remain to be given out with this criteria.
Im sure you can get no safer investment than that. Even a scammer cannot scam themselves, not that im in any way impling your a scammer.

So... wait... you want EFFORTLESS, PERFECTLY SAFE, CONSTANTLY FREE ISK ? bwahahahahhaaaa I'm almost tempted to say "send it all to me and I'll send you 5% of it every month from now on forever and ever", but I'm really NOT that big of a jerk.
EBank might actually last a good while from now on (barring all directors and cashiers going bonkers from too much work for too little pay in order to maintain the depositer's interest stream flowing), so I guess that's as safe and effortless as you can have it... but the returns aren't that great even now, and they might go even lower eventually.

There's datacore farming. Income is paltry and you need a character set up for research (including standing). But it can generate up to a few mil a day without risk aside from the initial investment.
