Edited by: Jess Cuz on 22/09/2008 19:18:43 I am fairly new to EVE, I've been playing for a month, but have a solid understanding of the game mechanics. I joined my first corp about two weeks ago but I'm having some reservations about continuing on with them after my 20d trial (in 6 days) is over. Without going into a lot of details, I am unhappy mainly because there appears to be no direction whatsoever from the officers. The CEO has been busy forming a Warhammer guild and hasn't even logged into EVE in over a month. Out of 65 members, only about 10 are what I would call active players.
What I have to offer and my goals:
Two characters -
Caldari Achura Miner/Manufacturer currently with 1.5m SP. She is currently mining high-sec in a very tricked out Osprey yielding close to 600 m3/cycle. She is focused entirely on mining and ultimately manufacturing T2 items for trade and corp use. She is right now less than 7d to flying a Retriever that she has already purchased and waiting for her in dock. She is extremely self-sufficient and has no problem making ISK. She is currently mining in The Forge and travels as far as Amarr space when she has a need for Kernite. Positive wallet balance with a cache of raw ore in storage as well. She loves mining for Kernite, Plagioclase, and Veldspar and rarely has any reservations about traveling great distances for belts with high yield. Minmatar Hauler with 1M SP. He is currently flying a Mammoth capable of hauling a full jetcan of ore. He also has some salvaging skills and cleans up rats while waiting for jetcans to be filled. He has an interest in developing some exploration skills but ultimately wants to become a freighter pilot.
My playing style:
I roll play as much as possible and take the game seriously but have fun as well. I am very committed to the development of my characters. I am a full-time player currently spending anywhere between 8 to 12 hours, and sometimes more, a day online in some capacity. I also read the forums, BC and CCP, and other guides while mining/hauling.
What I am looking for:
An established corp with strong leadership and the desire, and commitment, to always strive for more. A corp dedicated to EVE and who doesn't loose interest to whenever a new game comes along as I am now experiencing with Warhammer. A corp with a strong industrial base AND a PVP base. I'd one day like to become a better PVP pilot but right now I am really enjoying, and focused on, the industrial opportunities. A corp with an established space in low-sec and/or 0.0 would be a huge bonus. With the right support behind me, I think I am ready to move out of high-sec.
Please reply here on CCP if you are a recruiter willing to talk with me more. My current CCP identity is not my in-game identity but I am more than willing to share more details with the proper interested parties.
Thanks for your time.

Edited by: Jess Cuz on 22/09/2008 20:31:52 Thanks Elefant, I will look into your corp.
Elefant: I was just looking at your corps Bio and there is a note from August 19th saying the corp has been closed down. I'm confused.

MENFI might be a good fit for you. The Mentis Fidelis Corporation. We're not a dedicated Mining corporation indeed were PVP oriented but have several good miners on the books. with ship losses being what they are we have mining ops as a necessity on occasion rather than a decent way to make money. 12 of our guys can either fly hulks or have hulk alts so we carebear it up like the best of them from time to time.
As A PVP corp we can provide you with a reasonable amount of cover while you mine and have an intensive refinery at 2 of our POSes in 0.0 and access to several station systems in BRANCH.
Of particular interest is that our Manufacturing division(ME) can purchase all of your minerals locally, refer to above ship losses, so you don't have to worry about trucking down all your stuff to empire though if you did we have a jump freighter available. You wouldn't need to though as the recent Northern campaign has increased mineral prices in deep 0.0 considerably. mex at 38 isogen at 100. hell man trit is close to 4.0 most of the time. Even after the corp taxes lots of money to be made up here.
Lots of rocks to go after, everything but bistot and arkonor in our station systems. But we have grav sits pop up all the time that include those rocks and can usually kill them in short order
To be honest your on the low SP side for deep 0.0 mining. We have nice rocks but even nicer NPC ratting. A triple Battleship spawn could really ruin your day. An osprey is a fine boat but probably doesn't have the tank to last long. You may need to spend a few weeks in empire training up your shield skills or maybe get your other guy in a battlecruiser to take the agro from any rats.
Were pretty active about you wouldn't run into the problem you had last corp. And as far as getting into PVP we're pretty experienced with training new guys and even a tech one frigate can be relatively effective as a tackle. fun will be had by all
Probably talked to much, but I'm one of those recruiters who hates boilerplate replies. I'll be in game in about 5 hours. At work right now paying for my eve fix. I'll try to convo you then or you can leave an eve mail with me.
Hope to hear from you

But wait, there's more. We mine, honest. Well I once heard of a guy who mined, he even mined omber once. Let me tell you. Ok so here's my pitch, no 0.0 but heck there is some not so bad ore in high sec also. We mission/ mine/ industry etc. We are currently going through a recruitment drive and have taken on a couple of people with below 2 mill sp so we are used to and have no problem with new people.
If any of this interests you feel free to drop me a line. I should be on in like 5 hours or so but there are a few others you could contact as well. But hey we have flashy videos with things going boom. * Eve youtube video... *Second *http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajMhjBm7oPg *Original *http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxbg5Eb3wec

The Intaki Liberation Front is always looking for motivated pilots like yourself. We (and our alliance) often stage mining operations and have experienced pilots who can help you grow in that area. Additionally, our alliance maintains 3 POSes giving you access to research and construction in both high and low sec.
