Interesting Goonie speech...http://www.evenews24.com/2012/03/29/breaking-state-of-the-goonion-march-28/ I predict come april 28th ALOT of materials will be moved out of Jita by peeps I know I will no longer be using it as a storage depot. Im glad my TRUE home port isn't a trade hub but alot of my backup ships in Jita will be moved out in case of the seige of Jita is prolonged... A prolonged war in lo sec is IMHO always good & it sounds like a CCP action ( or reaction ) of throwing Mittens under the Bus percepitated it. As the Chinese CURSE goes: MAY YOU LIVE IN INTERESTING TIMES and I expect the next 2 months ( at least the next month & 1 day ) in Eve will be interesting indeed.
What will you be doing in Eve on Saturday April 28th... I will be there on whose side TBH I don't know either way: SCREAM HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR :) "In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move." - D. Adams |

This will be fun.
It will last only a day or so. No matter how big Goons are, they do not have infinite supply of ISK to fuel their "destruction of Jita" campaign. |

Good to see it'll be on a weekend nice timing on the ban CCP.... only question to the rest of you is will you be able to say: I WAS THERE "In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move." - D. Adams |

Thankfully even our newbies will be able to get involved in this, using Thrashers to pop wrecks before the leeches get to them. |

I dont think people really have fully realized the impact goons locking down jita will have, and whose to say jita will be the only place effected. Large and highly established alliances such as goonswarm have absolutely no need for hi sec right now, which makes them a very big threat to all of you who actually do. Everything they need can be aquired with no isk for them, so yeh... if they truly unleash a full on lockdown and destruction of jita it will be felt across all reaches of hi sec space, and even benifit themselves in the process to reap the rewards of a weakened economy. |

This isn't true in the least. There are a large variety of products and services offered in high sec that would be prohibitively expensive or time consuming to acquire or build in 0.0 space. T2 ships and modules, ice products, bulk minerals. Most major alliances have highly efficient importation systems to take advantage of the market density found in hub like Jita.
Its just that we care about the pubbie filths' suffering more than we care about the inconvenience it will cause us. |

Goons staying in game revolve around them being vindicated by CCP for providing good content. If We don't help CCP make them look like heroes, they might leave. They are not heroes. I hope CCP lets them jump into Jita and then de-reinforce the node. Save Us CCP from the Goonies. |

How is it that the filth still hasn't realized that our reason for staying in the game is to make them miserable. We achieve a great deal of enjoyment out of your pain and suffering. CCP is not necessary for this, the sand box of Eve that already exists is sufficient. The sandbox exists to give you something to do. And you exist to give us someone to victimize. |

Large and highly established alliances such as goonswarm have absolutely no need for hi sec right now, which makes them a very big threat to all of you who actually do. Actually, as revealed at Fanfest, Goonswarm/CFC space is among the least used space for industrial mining/manufacturing, even compared to far less populated areas. The idea of the most densely populated areas in 0.0 having the least active industry isn't that surprising - considering the limitations of nullsec industry and the advanced logistical organization of the CFC to simply buy all finished goods as needed from highsec in exchange for passively-acquired technetium income. In short, nullsec industry is so inferior and neglected that 'material independence from highsec' is a sign of inefficiency rather then the other way around.
I'm genuinely curious to see how they go about this jita torching, because if any alliance did have the capacity to fully cut themselves off from highsec, it'd be them. Or drone space. |

Bingo. There's no point in my going through the pain in the ass of building anything in Deklein when any of our privately owned Jump Freighter services can have whatever I want shipped in from Jita in less than 24 hours for a fraction of a percent above JIta cost. |

There will already be a increase in Inflations & speculation due to April 24th being the day that everyone expects the drones will no longer be pooping alloy and become a bounty ISK faucet. Shutting down Jita or the anticipation of another Hi SEC interdiction on the heels of the Gallente Interdiction is a speculators wet dream. According to Dr E at fanfest Jita already is a huge PvP arena...http://www.evenews24.com/2012/03/28/video-state-of-the-economy-fanfest-2012/ and without Jita Amarr would be the most populous Empire with the overcrowding happening. Would Amarr be the next hub or would Dodixie? HEK IMHO blows & Rens maybe a third place? If GOONs or anyone else could sustain a seige of a HUB such as Jita where is your next pick to set up shop traders? And Caesar's spirit, raging for revenge, With Ate by his side come hot from hell, Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war,That this foul deed... -á |
