The escrow on the page has been in the 1.3b range for quite a while now and I've been below 1bil for a few days. I think it's only just now back up to 1bil.
Eve marketeer claims my assets at 3,560,939,095, not 5.3b. Not sure which is correct, but just letting you know.
Your site has been claiming 8b in sell orders for a while now also. The last few days EveMentat has had me under 6bil. While I can't be fore sure because of corp sell orders, my guess is Mentat is the correct one.
I'm at work. I can get you my API stuff, but I won't be able to get you exact numbers until I get home as these are mostly from memory.
Also, I only have access to the NAV the ore calculator. It says I don't have access to any widgets, which makes the site nearly useless to me. Is there something I'm missing?
P.S. I do SQL/Reports/C# for a living. While I only work with MS-SQL, other SQL engines are mostly dialect differences.
Odd, the escrow cache should have cleared by now - I'll take a look in to this.
Pricing information is based on Eve Central currently. So we're going by what they report back to us.
8B in sell orders? What display is showing this? Mentat isn't necessarily the correct one, but I'll take a look - we go by what the API reports back to us.
And widgets are not the main focus of the site, widgets are just some panels that give you quick access to what you already have access to. If you can get me your username, I'll take a look once I'm home tonight. |

This made me laugh as I had to let someone go today who does the same thing, he just wasn't up to par. You didn't happen to work for Amazon until this afternoon did you :P? |

No I didn't. :p
I do work in a small team were we pretty much do our own projects, so my experience with working as a team on the same project is almost none, outside of my cap-stone project to graduate.
My experience is limited, but I do consider myself relatively smart. I do have ADD, which takes me a bit to get the "ball rolling". Working in an MS only environment also limits how much I may help if you use something else, but I do understand SQL(set based logic) and I could help as someone to bounce ideas off of.
I don't promise any magic, but I have a lot of interest in everything computers. I didn't get into computer to make money, I went in because I find it really really fun. |

I'll get you more exact numbers and my username when I get home.
Reports->Calc-Nav is showing 8.2bil as of right now. I have no real way of knowing if it's valid or not because in-game aggregates corp and personal sell orders. Short of manually tallying up all my corp orders, which the UI does not differentiate, I have assumed EveMentat to be correct until now.
But yeah, no point worrying until I get you more exact values. |

BST might be doing both corp and personal orders, this was an issue that Selene was having - I know how to fix this! Username would greatly help though. |

My API does not have access to corp orders as I don't have permissions in my corp, so I know that's not what's going on, or fairly certain. |

For the record, 2B ISK is a rather trivial sum of ISK. I have yet to send an in-game mail as I've been a bit too busy, I got home at 2am this morning following a short extended trip away from home. I'm more than happy to supply screenshots and copies of mail headers showing exactly when messages were sent.
I'm currently working on BST, the new system for eve-kill.net and a number of other things. Trust me when I say that you'd have to add a couple of 0's on to the end of that 2B to even make it appealing. I'm going to have breakfast now, I'll send an in-game mail after. |

Hi Kouryusei, well 2 billion isk may seem trivial to some people - but to me i've still invested alot of isk in you based on trust , my concern was over the lack of comunication since its been almost two weeks for a job you told me would take just one weekend. I can understand if your busy, and i am in no real rush however an email in game or out of game to keep me informed is all it takes. I did have other developers who where willing to do the project for the sum, but you expressed keen interest in working onit and you seemed to have good rep. If you could mail me ingame please with the update i've been waiting for that would put me more at ease. Im not expecting a polished finished project, just a working concept. Looking forword to your mail. Regards Edenfalls
I've learned this the hard way also. Now we all know how debt collectors feel when we don't call for a few months.. :P |

I seem to be experiencing difficulty with registering to use the site.
After following your link and landing at http://app.bitterseatrading.com/register, I input all of the necessary information. I was directed to the second page of the registration process where I select my character and type, and then click "Register."
When I clicked "Register" I was redirected to the initial registration page I'd already filled out. The information I'd entered (Username, API, etc.) was retained, so I clicked "Register" again to see what would happen. The page reloaded yet nothing changed, the data in the text fields remained and I'm still looking at the initial registration page.
I did notice however the URL had changed to http://app.bitterseatrading.com/register?error=exists, which tells me the registration was at least partially successful since now the URL is reflecting the account with my details does in fact now exist.
I then decided to just attempt to login with my newly created account information. The problem there is that whenever I attempt to login the page just refreshes but never changes, I'm left looking at the login screen.
I'm not sure what may be causing this to occur, but I thought I'd at least let you know. Thanks for your time, in reading this and in developing the BST resource for us to use. I look forward to being able to play around with it.
PS. In case it's useful for troubleshooting, I am on a Windows 64-bit system, and my browser is Google Chrome v18.0.1025.162 m

The next major development release is set for one week from today, and will have the following features enabled.
+ Asset overview pricing. (We currently show the overall value of your assets in the NAV calculator, we'll now let you see it on a case by case basis.)
+ Data query tool sitting on top of all the market orders we pull in from 3rd parties, build your own queries. (Want to run a really odd query on either your own, or all market data? You can do so!)
+ Highly available market pricing API. (We're currently consuming market order information from a number of 3rd party sources in as close to real-time as possible, we'll be providing lots of sexy aggregate data as a result.)
+ Many new widgets.
+ Mining operation management. (Run a mining operation? We'll simplify the management process of it for you.)
+ Production management. (We've posted about this previously, it's a handy tool!)
+ Profit/loss forecasting and margin data. (I finally have the calculations and graphing working as intended, just needs a bit more testing.)
+ Shared corporation mode. ([i]Want to allow certain people in your corporation access to details on the status of industry jobs or market orders? Or for production and mining operations? We're adding this feature in, and it's our favorite one!)
+ Stock control. ([i]Want to make sure you always have {n} of a specific item in {x}? We're adding this in, as well as adding it to our list of alerts.) |

This could have been suggested before (and probably has), but can you make it so you can choose which market hub your assets value is determined from, as a lot of the things I trade are more valuable in Rens than Jita. |
