I mean i died ... didnt know how .. then after going over it i revised how it might of happened ... i went over the situation and found the bug.
I petitioned it under reimbursement for my security status back and my ship but the guy who answered didnt even mention the fact that i said it was a confirmed bug ( I made a bug report too and it was attached to a defect ) , and he said that i agressed the pod and he couldnt do anything ... ( But in truth it was the bug that agressed me).
So i have made it more clearer that i died because of a BUG ... and was just wondering if its within policy to get reimbursed. |

If I understand correctly, section 1b) says you should get your ship back. However, it also says reimbursement is handled at the discretion of the GM, so... |

One thing I know - is that you have to petition it.
Asking on forums is not going to change anything.

If their logs show something they shouldn't you get anything that was destroyed back, nothing that was dropped back, and as far as I have heard never, ever do you get standing back, I'm not sure the GM's have the tools to do this properly.
If their logs show you aggressed, then that's what they show. Client side bugs are impossible for them to prove, so you don't get anything back, it's only server side bugs they can track.
You don't get the benefit of the doubt in the reimbursement stakes, if it can't be proved that it was a bug, you don't get anything, as in this game it is too easy to exploit if you allow that.

If you died because of a bug, then you should be reimbursed.
However, the more likely situation is that you died due to a mistaken understanding of game mechanics. In that case you should not be reimbursed, as everything is working as it should.

If you can prove or convince the GMs that it is a bug that killed you then you will get reimbursed.
Of course that doesn't apply to (large) fleet battles. Fleet battle losses never get reimbursed, even if there would be over than 9000 bugs. |

Pity they can't track or verify anything else. |

Bah ... not even bothered about the ship .. just the -22% for a pod kill 0.o.
This is the bug -
Corp A and corp B are at war.
Corp C is remote repping A to help them.
Corp B then shoots Player in corp C giving Corp C the right to shoot back (but not pod) Corp C launch drones and attacks corp Bs ship. Corp B ship dies. Corp A shoots corp Bs pod. Corp C¦s drones auto shoot Corp B¦s pod.
So corp C never locked Corp B¦s pod but agressed through what i think the remote reps as Corp C was still remote repping corp A at the time they were podding corp B¦s pilot.
-- Has been tested and confirmed bug.

Short Answer : No
Long Answer : Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Only exceptions I know of.
- If the bug is an exploit being used against you by another player. - If the bug is that Concord blew up your pod.

So your bug report came back indicating that this is a reproduced and known defect?
If so then it sounds like you should be reimbursed.
However, if this is a new bug, then you will likely need to press the matter as I have found that the front line GM's are not always able to deal with new or obscure bugs.
I am guessing that they need to stay within specific guidelines on their reimbursements, and if your particular bug has not made it from the Bug Hunters through QA and on to the GM team, then it is understandable for the frontline GM's to not have a policy for dealing with that bug. Esclate if needed, but also give the first GM a fair chance to solve the problem, as this may not have come up enough for them to need to reimburse for it much in the past.
