Fourth.
I would have been First but the jump from OP to First was missing from my map, so my autopilot directed me through Second and Third to here instead. -

Extended downtime is needed to check the patch that fixes the patch?
Methinks Quality Assurance needs to run themselves through their own grinder.

Aah thursday, what a perfect day to find soemthing else to do, in case there is an extention to downtime, eh? At least, please, do not come and spam a thread about why it doesn't work for you, when someone else posted already. Specially if you can't behave.
People gets sooo emo lately, astonishing...
Changes, sadly, almost never goes as planned. Sucks, but live with it. -Angel |

Can I skip the 1.1.1 patch and just wait for the 1.1.2? Or will I have to download the full client if I didn't apply the 1.1.1? ...

They just need multiple, layered QA departments, cause the beautiful code their expert devs are submitting is so beautiful that one department simply can't clean it up fully.
I've avoided the game and the 1.1.1 patch, but watch them force me to patch to 1.1.1 and go through the directx stupidity (and other bugs I've read about) before they let me install 1.1.2. Cause that's how the pro's do it.

If this follows the standard procedures, you could skip it and get 1.1 to 1.1.2 on thursday. -Angel |

Depending on how CCP set it up, you'll either download both in sequence, or one patch to cover both. I doubt you'll need to download a whole new client.

Wow to think that some of these programmers could have instead been working for companies that control our global finances. Looks like they missed promising careers.

Patch sends thousands of hapless autopiloters into systems they never knew existed. twice.

Fix EVE under Wine/Linux please.
It freezes within seconds of login, for everyone after this patch.
'The Official' EVE Linux client is broken to, but nevermind that rusty antique.
Put priority to WINE please.
..since WINE is what everyone uses on Linux and not Cedega.

Just as an FYI, Eve under Wine is working ok here with the current patch, no new issues at all. This is with Ubuntu 8.04 and the latest stable Wine release.

When people report bugs, it'd be nice if they did report which client they use..
Plays with classic, none of those bugs I could see yesterday. No chat window moving, it's in fact more stable, beside a little desync of the boom! sound when a ship blows, but this I can live with really..
Haven't been in fleet yet, wonder if the windows move around still. I was used to pin those and for them to stay put between dock and undocks. Will have to see. -Angel |

Yeah, I'd suggest the version number should be 1.1.1.1 instead of 1.1.2 for a better measure...
