Currently during a mining op or if you haul a lot of items round in cans to save space you end up getting a popup box asking you how much you want to put in a can as you are attempting to place more then the can has space for.
Would it be possible to have a tick box so that the can is automaticly filled to capacity similar to the option with guns?
this would make hauling large numbers of items around a lot eaiser. |

If you try to fill a can with a single stack large than the remaining space, it will automatically fill to capacity. The only problem is when dragging a mixed stack of items, it will fill till the next item in line wont fit, and then stop, regardless of whether other items you dragged still would... |

These are two different problems, but both should be changed. The first problem is the fact that you have to confirm the partial move into a full bin (this requires the check-box to default to accept). The second problem is that when moving multiple stacks, it moves stacks until it reaches one that won't fit, it then pops up an error and stops. I should instead pop up the same partial move confirmation that the previous fix is about. Both times, it should still pop up some sort of notification, but via the normal notification, as opposed to the modal pop-up, so it doesn't require acknowledgement.

I agree its a little more complicated then my orginal idea. I was only thinking of ore/minerials then I wrote the orginal idea, assuming that you are only loading large quantites of a single item and not mutiple different types of item.
I am not sure how much having the option would effect the loading of mutiple different items, I have always assumined it loaded them in a fixed order till it hits on were there is in suffuicent space and then stops.
