I, Scott Woods, CEO of RLSH Inc, publicly proclaim to the CEO of "Black Hat Delta" that your war declaration on our corp is without merit and a waste of your valuable resources. You have spent more isk on just the war-declaration fees and marketing then we have in our entire corp, times 10, and in doing this you have only shown your own gross stupidity.
My attempts to find out why this has been declared have failed; you don't even seem to know, and it seems like you don't have any power over your members to find out. While they smack-talk like a baby and make your corp look bad, you hide with your tail between your legs like a scared child, unable to control your corps members or otherwise show any fiscal knowledge while you HIDE from care-bears.
Unlike you, I'm not going to waste the money to make this mutual, because lets face it, I don't have the money to do so. And since you can't come into empire, your not going to be able to negotiate an ending to this. So eat the costs.
Since you want to look bad in front of everybody and waste money, I look forward to the rising fees from the wardec bankrupting you, because my ibis is docked in Jita and I am staying there to study the markets and do what I enjoy. Unlike you, I don't live for space, I live for the markets, so go ahead and be scared of a care-bear in an ibis, it just shows how weak you are.
Just face it, if you where really as big and bad as you say you are - with your 9 members total - I would not be worth your time... and yet I am important enough to war-dec, so that makes me a danger to you. How funny.

Uh, just two things, pilot.
First, unless you're in an alliance or one of your corps is involved in a war already, their weekly fees amount to less than the cost of an unfitted cruiser.
Second, making the war mutual doesn't actually cost you anything; it just relieves them of the costs while making it harder for them to get out of the war.
Best of luck in your trading, and I'd advise you not to ship anything very large while in a state of war.

I know how much it costs, but thank you. Thats exactly why I think its a wast of time. I also dont haul my own goods, others do it for me.. and BHD cannot touch them.
I'm simply a middle man, used when it is fiscaly worth my time adnt he time of my clients. Nothing more.. this war is worthless.

Fair enough.
So what is there to be getting irritable about, then?

I'm angry because they seem to just be making stuff up in an attempt to gain popularity. They are slandering me, being hypocritical by doing the exact same things they claim to be against, and yet all the while they are trying to now say that they are the good guys.. while they grief people who have nothing to do with supposed slight I have since been informed of.
To make it worse, I attempted to negotiate a settlement and they requested things I don't have, cant get, and am unable to even aspire to because our corps ibises keep getting camped and so we have no way to gain resources.

If they can't come into Empire, as you stated in your first post, how are they camping your Ibis fleet, as stated in your followup?
If you feel you are being slandered, you should argue the slander, not try to use the "we are too weak to be worth the effort" defense. That only encourages more extortion, and every carebear tries that.
You are a target of opportunity apparently. They've got plenty to cover wardec fees, I'm sure.
Finally, whining about in GalNet is silly. You didn't say anything here that couldn't have just as easily been done in an evemail, and now that you've called them out, I expect they are going to double their efforts. After all, you just told the entire cluster that they are getting to you. You'd have made more mileage asking for mercs available to hire.
Humble pie does not taste good, I've had plenty of it myself. Don't go adding salt to the mix.

Edited by: Daminari Haxifawn on 10/10/2008 05:02:48 I was witness to what the war dec'n corp considered an act of aggression. i watch the whole thing play out. Scott Woods, in a ferox at the time, warped to a belt where they had a can with an exotic dancer in it from what they were talkin about in local. I was mining in my little frig in the same belt. Watched Scott woods come in and go directly for the can. The can disappeared and I watched Norath Horses begin firing, and some blue beam going between the ships(going to guess it was a warp scrambler?). Scott Woods then warped out,(thought you couldnt get away from one of those) and began smack talking in local. exact words exchanged i cannot remember. I imagine thats what started your war, and i have seen norath in caldari systems for a while. a name ending in horses you tend to remember. And as for your ibis fleet, why dont you look up your own losses on battleclinics kill board. i see no ibis losses, a few cormorants tho.
All in all, these can flippers got what they deserved imho.

I'm told that the can in question WAS marked "free stuff". So even if I had done what they said, I never stole anything, I would have only accepted offered items. They are misleading others into thinking it was theft when it was not.

I thought one of them could not enter empire - the ceo - but it seems that he can. We are all in empire space when they attack our ibis.
I barrowed a ferox from a friend, and that also got attacked by multiple ships at once. I ended up losing that, and was able to bum a destroyer that also got poped. Either way, this set us back enough that we now use alternative contacts for all our non-station operations.. and the sopposed theft-that-never-was-a-theft was paid back long ago.

Way to draw negative attention to your corp. I hear your type of complaint at least once a month.
I am willing to bet you went to CCP's FAQ/guide and saw that it costs 50 million ISK a week to declare you. Otherwise saying someone is "wasting valuable resources" when they're only spending 2 to 6 million a week is a bit silly and overdramatic, no?
It might be a bit different if your corp is in an alliance, then it steps the fees up quite a bit. But many people would pay 50mil a week to see you make posts like this.
It's a game. Lighten up and have fun. Personally, I hope they keep you dec'd long enough that you quit corp and they dec your next corp. That's what I would do.

If it isn't a minimum of 50 mil per week; how much does it cost (unfitted cruiser is a bit vague) And how are the costs calculated?

For a corp with no war dec's to dec another corp that has no wardec's I believe that the cost is about 2 mill isk per week.
