Engagement, Sunday around 0:00 Eve Time:
Alliance member reported HUIM Raven undocking in Tash-Murkon Prime, and engaged it. A nearby Rapier moved to support, and was witness to the THOR- pilot (in a Typhoon) being destroyed by HUIM reinforcements including a Myrmidon, Harbinger, and Rupture.
Initial Engagement: Friendly Typhoon vs Enemy Raven, Myrm, Harbi, Rupture. Typhoon lost, Rapier remained cloaked and did not engage.
Counter fleet formed in Sukanan. Initially consisted of a Nighthawk, Megathron, and Maelstrom. THOR- fleet moved to Anjedin, and found it empty of reds. THOR- Rapier, still shadowing HUIM fleet in TMP, and Armageddon in Domain joined fleet. Fleet in Anjedin jumped to Pimebeka, and found in a HUIM Crow and Thorax on the Pimebeka side of the gate. Decided to fight on that gate, as 2 out of the 3 ships would be caught if a warp off the gate was attempted. Fleet de-cloaked from jump, HUIM Crow and Thorax scrambled and webbed THOR- Megathron. The remainder of the HUIM fleet moved from TMP to Pimebeka and warped to the Anjedin gate.
Up until this point, the battle could have gone either way: HUIM: Crow, Thorax, Rupture, Myrmidon, Harbinger, Raven, and a Demios reported moving nearby. THOR-: Megathron, Nighthawk, Maelstrom, Rapier.
Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view), things began to fall apart for HUIM. The Nighthawk - the THOR- ship with the toughest tank - recieved primary from the HUIM fleet. It's tank held through out the battle. Furthermore, the Nighthawk didn't recieve all of the HUIM fleet's fire; some also fired on the Megathron. The THOR fleet, on the other hand, focused fire on the Raven, quickly destroying it. The Myrmidon was next to go down. At this point the HUIM people got the point, and began to try to jumping through the gate into Anjedin. The Harbinger and Rupture made it this way, as did the Demios (who warped directly to the gate and jumped through); the Thorax did not. The Crow moved to ~200KM off the gate, and continued to shadow the THOR- fleet for some time until the Rapier went after it.
HUIM: Total ships involved: Raven, Myrmidon, Demios, Harbinger, Rupture, Thorax, Crow Ships lost: Raven, Myrmidon, Thorax
THOR-: Total ships involved: Maelstrom, Typhoon, Nighthawk, Megathron, Rapier (Armageddon unfortunately arrived after the engagement) Ships lost: Typhoon.
As the Mega pilot, I can say that battle was FUN. ----------------------------------------------
