- Generic system backgrounds... When will they be fixed with something that is 1. looking better and 2. something more unique to the system.
- Exploration The current exploration system in 0.0 is very boring after you've seen all the exploration sites and complexes, any plans to make this more dynamic or give us a heap of extra scenarios we can find and solve?
Why can we still grind COSMOS complexes? And don't say we can't, because we can.
- 0.0 Why is it that you can still make an equal ammount of isk/h in 0.0 and empire using the most accessible methods of isk generation (missions & ratting).
Why are missions in 0.0 worthless and really not worth the risk/standing drop as compared to empire missions?...

1) What is being done or thought about in regards to encouraging members out of NPC corps.
2) Retribution 1 medium slot, wtf.
3) AoE weapons? Bombs are useless on Tranq right now.
4) T2 short range ammo. No one uses this on Tranq right now, it has been replaced by faction ammo.
5) Factional warfare improvements coming?
6) What are you going to do to our precious war decs?
7) Can my typhoon have 5/5 missile/turret hardpoints and for baby jesus sake can it have more armor than shield HP?
8) Naglfar uses the most weapons but does the least DPS? Fix the best looking cap ship please. |

First of all this is a SPLENDID initiative.
As some other people says, is this dev marathon going to become more regular or Zulu was just a one off rampaging berzeck dev on the lose?
Will drugs manufacture and the general game mecanism of illegality good been revisited?
Any changes in the ways the market work (aside the shop front) and dealing with the jita traffic jam?
All carebears ships can only run away from danger any hope that they could acquire some more serious passive or active defensive ability?
Any hope of mining being more unpredictable, ratters have rats bonus rats or ore spawn and the infamous officer... something similar for miner might be nice?
Any thought about faction amnesty since nowadays passing a certain point it is almost impossible to recover from a bad faction stqnding. The make missions with pal may not be such a great answer?
Any hope on fixing the bounty hunter system?
Any rework of the salvage / loot value?

1. How do you envision blaster ships being used in combat after the patch?
2. How do you suggest we blaster ship pilots fit our ships to be successful in solo and small gang PVP?
3. Explain why most other ships nearly equal the peak DPS of blaster ships while having four to five times the effective range?
4. What blaster ships were so horribly fast that they needed to be slowed down by over 40%?
5. Why break the flexiblity and functionality of ships like the Hyperion in order to compensate for problems that don't even need to exist in the first place?

Recon ships.
Is something going to be done to make the pilgrim more useable?
Think about it, the falcon, the arazu and the Rapier all get a range bonus - the falcon to its EW... 20% bonus to ECM Target Jammer optimal range per level the rapier to its webbing.... 60% bonus to stasis webifier range the arazu to its scrambling...20% bonus to warp disruptor range ...per level Each of these shares this bonus with its combat recon brother. and the Pilgrim......well, nothing (unlike its Combat recon brother the curse.... 20% bonus to warp disruptor range.....per level)
This is clearly unbalanced and needs sorting out (and I am not even amarr).
Are you going to do something about it soon?

Local chat - if we cant see who/how many in local then how are we going to know to look for something or not?
im sure people dont want to be going thru every system, scanning for 10 mins only to find its friendly people or empty.
Force recons - if said local chat nerfthingy gets implemented, wouldnt it make Force Recons the i-win ship in 0.0?

1)What do you think about a repeating payments tool? Basically like the one many people use to pay their utility bills and rents in the non-virtual world.
1a)What about revisiting the corporate wallet tools like A/R, A/P, and rents. i.e. to include more relevance in a direct player to player, or corp to corp context rather than interaction with exclusively npc assets.
2)Any new market filters? Perhaps by metagroup?
3)Keyword filter options for channels? Blocking a mere 80 isk/ad spammers is not enough. Temp blocking?
4)If the players started doing something to provoke a significant rise in T2 prices (i.e., total helldeath attrition moonwars), would you favor intercession or a concord bounties buff, or would you prefer to let the market take its course?
5)More fine tooth controls for POS intended for multicorp support maybe?

Battleships all lost 20% speed for speed nerf. Is there plans to adjust lvl 4 mission gates accordingly to balance with tq?
Stealth bomber due to cruise missile nerf is incapable of doing anything. Please balance... or give us citadels to fit on the stealth bombers.

Bounty Hunting: Any plans at all on probably the ONLY thing that hasn't been significantly tweaked since beta? Or do we still get to watch all these nice, but unkillable, bounties flying around through high-sec with high degrees of immunity?
Some way of engaging them in high-sec would be nice. As would a better way of tracking them. Then you have the issue of self-gankage to acquire said bounty, as well as characters that are no longer subscribed. At least take the non-active players off the top-10 list when they are there.

I can't read the thread fast enough to determine if this has been asked.
Would you guys contemplate making chat push to talk or something like that, so we can free up the letter keys for hot keys?
As an extension of this would you consider making hot keys assignable to any action? Such as warp to zero, align, re-package whatever? Basically removing the need to use mouse all the time.

Do the UI changes you spoke of include some performance optimising, especially with regards to brackets?
At present my system, which handles the 3d graphics fine even in large battles completely stalls unless the number of brackets are minimised. You are forced to seriously compromise the information you have displayed in order to maintain any sort of usability. Considering the complexity of the ship models and effects, and the relative simplicity of drawing small white boxes, this seems rather about face.

Did your decision to nerf all interdictors with a 25% base speed reduction pan out the way that you thought it would?
I realize that I could have quite easily trained for the one of the two viable remaining interdictor races (heretic and sabre for the ability to fit a mse while still fitting a reasonable amount of speed mods), but I'm currently on my 42nd flycatcher total and I'm kinda still flying them based on principle at this point so if you could fix what you broke now that you at least seem to understand the game a bit better that would be great. 3.2 k/s with a t2 fit and one lowslot (1) certainly was not overpowered before, and 2.4 with your nerf is something that makes me want to print out a life sized picture of your forum avatar and have my dog urinate on it. Or just get internet angry.
Anyway please fix non sabre interdictors (you can do this by just undoing your previous actions that would be sweet). If you also want to admit it was dumb to nerf the flycatcher I would be cool with that too but I would also be happy with my "save the flycatcher" campaign being successful as well so whatever.

I would like to know your reasoning behind this.
The way I and many people see it, you have a short range weapon, it isn't the greatest, but it worked in some situations because you could MWD with the mega or hyperion pretty quick into optimal range.
What you've done is reduced battleship speed a fair amount, and cut acceleration by a huge factor. A short range weapon on a ship that's extremely slow, and you think its fine? (In terms of traditional rpgs, it's like a melee class that can't run or sprint into range but only crawl with a crippled leg)
I can see torps and pulse being fine, because their effective engagement sphere is rather large and does not depend on ship mobility.
Also continuing on, once upon a time, blasters were fine. Why? It had outright the most dps to compensate for its short range and cap wasting MWD bursts required to use it. These days, with the torp ROF boost, pulse tracking boost, pulse boost with EM reduction on armor, these weapon platforms have crawled very close or surpass blasters as a top dps weapon. All the while they retain their huge range advantage. Isn't time to buff blasters? Logic would assume an overwhelming "YES".

1,Any thought about a cloaking bubble, with say 20km or 50km range?
2,Any info on making exploration/hacking more in depth like was done with mining? Also any thoughts on improving and making smuggling more possible.
3,I Like the idea of jump planners for capital ships built into the game.
4,Plans to improve the asset functionality its very limited atm, Being able to sort your items by type and quantity and so on would make sense and help hugely.
5,Will we ever be able to create contract for items in more than one location as setting up multiple contracts seems quaint.
6,Are planets planned to be used for resources like moons?
7,How about cloak scanning modules with say upto 15-20km range depending on skills?
8,Able to sort your Evemails by when recieved, So new evemails show at top, searching through them all for a new one is anoying.
9, Fleet mergers, Instead of leaving and waiting to join another fleet.
10, More corporation skills such as Diplomat, which incrases amount of possible standing between corps/ alliances.

1. Bomb Cost: I read you will decrease bomb's cost by increasing production batch by 1. Any chance you increase that some more?.. how about decreasing their volume a bit?. Right now bombs deal 20 times the damage of a Torp but cost 200 times in materials. Also, current mechanics makes it almost suicidal to try launch one, you need at least two to destroy any ship and a bomber can only carry up to 4 (small U-Boats carried 14 torps)
2. Wine and Linux Client: any plans on supporting running premium client with Wine?

if it's built in on SiSi now would that not mean the res bonus is now stacking on top of the built in bonus? can anyone tell me what this guy is talking about? I don't see any different on SISI |

1) Are methods being explored to make low sec more attractive WITHOUT nerfing high sec? It seems every time I see someone talking about making low sec "more attractive", the method is to try to force PvE players out of high sec and into becoming sitting duck targets. Problem is, most people STILL aren't going to go to their almost certain ganking just to get to the high-quality level 4 agents. Are any other approaches under consideration that actually make low sec more attractive rather than high sec less attractive?
2) Though I must say I'm LOVING the looks of the Orca, are there any plans to make an actual mining cap ship, not just an industrial?
3) Is there any chance we might see an expansion of the odds of getting an actual mining mission? Right now getting a mining mission from an agent in the mining division is uncommon...is there any talk of maybe increasing it?
4) Are you planning to continue the trend of bringing out new missions pretty much every expansion?
5) Research facilities in npc stations have MASSIVE wait times...any plans to increase the number of some types (material research and copying, especially)?

Is anything expected to be done with the corp interface and roles? Particularly I'm looking for more granularity in what members can do, see, and take. I would like to be able to give the ability to set manufacturing jobs without giving the ability to remove them, for example.
What is happening behind the scenes with the LP stores? Is it likely that the pricing will be made more dynamic to make less-used items more appealing? Are the Minmatar going to see Republic Fleet Webs in theirs? Also, are you considering diversifying the offerings and cost of LP stores more by corp?
The second mission question, is could some agents be added to the smaller 'combat' corps. The main reason every Caldari runner uses the very few corps they do is that those have the 'best' agents. Giving lesser known corps such as Home Defence a L4Q16 or something could give more observant players even more options than they have now.
Can the balance team take a look at Electronic Warfare drones? Presently, only the ECM and Neut drones are not stacknerfed. The rest have most of their effect eaten up by the stacking penalty. Will the Web drones get unstacknerfed when webs become unstacknerfed?
The other drones I very rarely see used are Amarrian Combat Drones. They do not particularly excel in any area. Their speed is below that of Minmatar, as is their damage, and their HP is below that of Gallente drones. Can they get a small boost to their damage multiplier (perhaps on to par with Curators at 1.4) and perhaps their armor HP? It would make them more competitive for both ratting and PvP fits.
The last of my drone requests will be Drone Hardwirings and Meta versions of the drone modules. Is this likely to happen, or do coding concerns make Drone Hardwirings impractical?
Is there any chance of rig penalties being diversified some? I can see things such as rigs that trade range for tracking. Call it a Projectile Barrel Shortening Kit I.
What do you think about the balance of short range T2 ammo vs. Faction ammo?
Finally, is it at all likely that the maximum range cap of 249km will be increased? Very few ships can hit at 250km, but a few could hit well past it if they were allowed to lock that far. The Rokh in particular is capable of operating far past the range cap. |
