Ok I'm down by the galaxy radio thing, I've entered the national guards building and I'm blowing all those pretty robots upp (I'm level 5 lol).
Theres supposed to be a switch or a terminal that opens a door.

OMG. I don't even remember anything remotely like that. You fought your way to the station alongside of some BOS troopers and helped killing that SOB large mutant, right? After that you receive some mission concerning a radio dish. And that's pretty much all. Was there some other optional side mission? |

ooo ive questions.
1) I cant use a bench to make weapons, how do u make them?
2) The lockpick, its really hard, even tho its says very easy at times. Not sure how to pick them as the bobbypins keep breaking.
3) Can't find the bint that will teach me to use power armour and im level 9 i think.

1. You need the schematic for a weapon and the parts required. JUST LIKE EVE! 2. Just use the mouse (if PC) to move the pin around while turning the lock. The lock will turn more as you are closer to the right position. If it starts jamming, just back off and try a new position. 3. You need to do the main storyline quest to do get Power Armor training. Not going to spoil it, but you need access to the Citadel/Pentagon.
Been playing this game nonstop, love it, MUCH better than Fable 2 IMHO. Funny thing was, I was trying to avoid the main quest for a while and just explore instead, but in my exploration I just happened to find dear old dad unintentionally! Oh well. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Get the shishkabob. Best melee weapon in the game.I think there are 3 chances to get it. If you get a blueprint and make one, go to meresti station and get the second one from Vance. Each copy you get will enhance the weapon.
Also, get the Androids plasma rifle in Rivet City since it is DAMN powerful and fun to melt guys.

Edited by: Khemul Zula on 05/11/2008 06:07:58 Found it sorta funny but, Galaxy Radio is actually optional . I was wandering around and kept getting sidetracked. Next thing I know I'm at Rivet City and the mission just skipped over and the storyline moved on. Level 15 now and still haven't gotten around to visiting the radio station.

Lockpicks? I thought I had to wiggle the mouse....
So, am I right in thinking:
1) Move lockpick to angle (eg. 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock, etc). 2) Hit WASD 3) If lockpick 'jams', release WASD and start again 4) ... 5) Profit
?

Pretty much but if you try and turn the lock casing without the bobby pin in the right location it puts stress on it and eventualy breaks, and certain locks can only be atempted if you have the matching skill ie very hard lock needs 100 in lockpick so you cant even attempt it with below that skill.

OMG - lol, after you stun them go up to them and talk to them. You can then take all of their stuff and enslave them with the explosive collar the slaver gives you.
Then you go back to paradise falls and you get 250 caps and a new collar. Oh and the ammo for it is damned expencive.
Also, how damned cool is the bloody mess and the cannibalism perk. When I shoot people with the combat shotgun now they explode and I can eat the little bits of them! :D
Edit: *cough* not that I'm an evil character or anything

I'm honestly not sure if a character in this game can be truely evil. After reading about the things that went on that formed the Brotherhood of Steel. The vault-tec experiments. The testing of Nuka Cola Quantum. By those standards nothing you do in this game can truely make you anymore evil then the world already was .
Being a careless, cannibal, vampire, slaver, who murders everyone who looks at him the wrong way (or any way) is sorta the norm. For instance my 'good' character slaughtered the entire population of Paradise Falls, and got good karma for doing it .

East to the Talon Base(some Fort NW of Big Town) are something that looks like a Airplane crash(little canyon that ends up into a bit crater), but got a damaged Truck at the end. There are 90 Charges for the Alien gun next to the Truck. Radiation at this place increses as you follow it to the crater where it becomes quite high.
