Quantum Rise, the latest expansion release for EVE Online, has been deployed. The Tranquility server is now online and accepting connections.
Please use this thread to give us feedback on new features, changes and fixes.

New gate icons are displayed (in the "Selected Item" window) on the white background.
Other than that weirdo, everything is ok.

Actually the certificate system is useless...if you are at war you can delegate your members to different functions with the aid of certificates. It is not a good idea if the enemy can see the certificates of my members!

I had been fully prepared to praise the new stargates, but if I'm not mistaken, they appear to have been cut from this deployment. The Dev Blog on Certificates says:
"Permissions lets you set whether each individual certificate is public or private with a nice little radio-button list, as well as having the option to set all certs public or private. Changes aren't saved until you click "save", so any mistakes can be rectified without doing any harm."
Is it not working?

New stargates are in place - in Metropolis, at least :)

You cannot set the visibility ONLY corp-wide oder alliance-wide or both...you can set the visibility ONLY to public...if I want to see the certificates of my corp members or alliance members they have to set their certificates to public!!!
And every enemy could see the capabilities of my members....that is NOT USEFUL ;) ____________________ Security Status 8.9

grouping isn't working for me at least. I turn off module locking and unload launchers but still won't group. all other modules just fade.

I have the premium graphics, my g/f does not. We are both in the same station and the station is different for her inside than it is for me with the prem. graphics. Is this a patch issue? Do premium graphics change the look inside a station compared to the normal graphics? By looks I mean the interior of the station is different in it's build compared to my computer.

Don't like certificates - I have very good drone skills (6m SP), but because of the certificates selections, I apparently am only "basic" or "standard" in all categories.
Love the fact that I can now turn off window snapping.
Hate the speed nerf. I can understand reductions to high-end ships (speed-wise), but why have the implant slots been changed? My BS with speed implants used to manage a rather pathetic 140m/s. Now that my speed implants have been removed, this is 116m/s. And I can't put them back as the slots have changed, and both implants now go in the same slot, and the slot is already occupied by a 250m isk implant needed for my tank. So much for "the need for speed" - many of my missions will now take me 20% longer. Seems a rather heavy-handed set of changes which penalise everyone, not just those who build ridiculously fast ships - I don't care that my interceptor has lost 3km/s, but I do care that my BS has lost 24m/s :-(

certificates, mining ones requiring all the refining skills to 5 when you only need 4 for t2 crystals (maybe improved = 4, elite = 5?)
certificate stats, for maximum e-peen waving effectiveness the certificates need to have a summed up area, for example: number of certificates, number of standard/elite/improved etc.

Excellent job! My crow that I trained up to go 14k+ now goes slower than when I first was able to fly it! FOTM! Is there an option in the new certificates section where I can renew wasted skillpoints on things that will make spaceships useful for me?
The new stargates are very pretty.

seriously, stop whining. webs got nerfed the hell out of them too
I find it kinda funny that both the nano'ers and the people who get killed by nano'ers both find reasons to complain about QR lol

Are mining lasers not included in the grouping options? None of mine will group. Is this intended?
Why are UI changes made without addressing the fundamentals of the UI? For example all of the complaints from colorblind people. The modules are now even harder than they were in Trinity to see if they are active. Now add the module timer that takes up half of the flashing bar and now it is impossible to see the modules when they are at 75% completed through a cycle. Please give us something better or allow us to change the module active and deactive colors. ------------------------------------

The Muvolailen to Komo gate has been removed while this is not in the patch notes. I hope its a mistake cause otherwise i need to move my shop closer to Motsu and it would be a pain to get 400+ sell orders entered again.

I was looking forward to using the corporate decorations system to match very nifty in-game aesthetics to what has been up until now an out-of-game ranking system for my corporation. Cadet, junior combat pilot, combat pilot, master combat pilot, skirmish commander, fleet commander, et cetera. I was shocked to find every medal costs 5 mil ISK.
As a corporate director, I demand the freedom to craft my corporation to my own image. Tacking this kind of expense onto new medals destroys my flexibility as a leader and a director and does nothing to enhance gameplay. If I were to pay the for any medal it would just backfire by pulling ISK out of what is a very delicate balance between my corporation's ability to earn money by moving equipment economically barren regions (trust me, you WANT us to do this) and to be able finance my PvP division. This is joe the plumber in space here and this cost for decorations means either a) the feature simply won't be used or b) any use of this feature leads to deterioration of _real_ gameplay.
