I just looked at the categories under ships, in the Item Database for this website, and there's no Marauders category. There are Exhumers and so forth, so it isn't that T2 is excluded.
Is that deliberate, or it is yet another thing that CCP forgot to do?

They haven't updated the Item Database since about 2 patches. |

Yeah, they haven't updated the website's item database in a looong time. Check out the Amarr frigates section, no Magnate listed. The Amarr Anathema still has the old hull graphic, as does the Gallente Helios.
Electronic Attack Ships are missing from the item database altogether too.
For item info, I'd suggest looking at some of the more well known websites like battleclinic, they should have up to date item databases.

That is disgusting.
Whoever manages the website and negates to impliment said changes is robing CCP... |

The updating of the item database is not a primary task. It isn't even secondary or tertiary.
Basically the item database only has a chance to get updated when one of the hamsters that powers Jita gets sick and has to take the day off and most of the time they really are sick and can't update it.
Just look at all the missing pictures that have been missing for over 2.5 years. |

And gasp! They've been doing so for ages.
Ironicly, it feels like it should take them less then a manday of work to get a decent database explorer in order and implement in on the webpage. And all of th community would praise them for quick databasedumps so... Heck, I bet they could give away some quirky medal or unique and let someone from the community do it.
A golden veldsparroid in Amarr and the problem would be solved. |

Updating the item database is a task of the webteam.
The webteam is currently having more fun developing the EVE API and working on the EVELopedia.
The EVElopedia will have an integrated item database that will take its data directly from the live server, thus will always be up to date.
Because that project is nearing release and there are several websites and offline tools providing up to date item info, a decision has apparently be made to not waste any time updating the current, soon to be discarded, itemdatabase. A task which has been reveiled to take the better part of a day in an old dev blog. |

Actually, Marauders have been a two year bug that the devs just havn't fixed. If players, however, start to abuse this bug by flying these ships, the devs will most certainly fix this problem (especially if it means bleeding more money out of subscribers)

Like this man says, it's all going to be replaced very soon with a completely new system. No point updating the old one :) |

Saying what's there will be replaced soon is all fine and dandy, but some of us, like me, are familiar with the time dilation that occurs between real time and developer time.
Case in point, one game I used to play had a new profession scheduled for release in 2004. It is now 2008 and said profession has not been released. In fact the last official announcement on said profession was back in April and is now so old forum viewers can't read it.
As a result when developers say, "Oh yes, we'll do this soon" or "Real Soon Now" I start planning to see what they're talking about in years, not months. ____________________

Recently, CCP has been significantly better in rolling out stuff approximately when they indicated it would be available. I guess they've finally got their new hires integrated and up to speed.
Hopefully I'm not just dreaming. |
